tbf we've got Ashley Young earning 130k a week so we shouldn't be surprised. We seem to be a charity for the average PL footballers.

He's someone who understands Joses orders and does well

whilst not the best player in the world he's a grafter, and sometimes hard work is rewarded.

and to answer you question... hes done no worse than Martial has this season

He's been very inconsistent though, a few good games here and there. Martial was at least top class last season, Lingard is older and hasn't replicated any sort of form similar to him.

I'm glad he's resigning... taking the reported wage with a pinch of salt.... footballs gone mad anyway

whether he just runs about or not... he at least looks like he gives a sh!t.

I think he's under-rated tbh, never going to be a world beater but not as bad or average as some make out

Not worth half that wage. 24 now and not good enough on a regular basis.

Sky Sports are usually reliable when it comes to new contracts. And I'm not a media student, I graduated last year. Don't even know what it's got to do with this topic.

You didn't pay zero £ for him though. Well deserved. Hidden in the martial, rashford and myhki debate is how lingard in the last few months has out performed them playing on the left, right and middle. Ashley young is paid way over that, Rooney is ... well less said about that the better.

He is United through and through.

So played under 2 managers at utd, and a full international... he cant be that bad.

He has tripled his wages ... how many players nowadays are full england internationals, playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world and is still on 30k a week?

Maybe if some of the other so called far superior players put in the graft jesse has we wouldnt be struggling to make top 4
