If they got on the right gear and replaced DCL with Isak - they’d replicate that infamous Milan league win in 94
Dychey must be ripping his goatee out at Everton this season. They should be comfortably mid table at worst based on his coaching. Unbelievable how shiiiiit their players are given the money they've spent.
I read they got deducted 2 points because they overspent by 17m, coincidentally the amount they spent on 2 goal Neil facking maupay
They’ve been a more direct version of Potter’s Brighton.

Phew
Thank god for that.
I was scared we’d end up with expending energy on this tin pot cup.
We’ve got bigger fish to fry.

NBA playoffs?

Spot on Daz.
We messed up against the Spurs and ended up with the 2nd seed.
So we have the hard route to the Finals now.
LeBron & AD in the 1st round and then KD & Booker in the 2nd
Shame he doesn’t know what he’s talking about basketball wise
Will be 4-0 vs lakers, probably play the Twolves next round but the suns can’t make stops against the nuggets (not many can) & the most dangerous team(s) for the Nuggs are a fully fit Clippers or Mavs
Jimmy Buttler genuinely looks like he did a serious knee injury, dang
All about the blue chip players.
That sucks, playoff Jimmy Buckets is the goat.
last night wasn't a dream then
we won
didn't think our midfield looked great last night tbh
Camavinga had a nightmare of a match in particular
In the 2019 Carabao Cup final, Bernardo Silva scored a penalty vs Kepa.
Last night, Kepa advised Lunin to stay down the middle and it worked.

They actually interviewed Lunin after the game and he explained the process.
The goalkeeping coach identified 3 or 4 of City's takers who might take it down the middle. Lunin said he picked Silva's to stay put because it was only the second pen, saying that he felt it was easier to take that kind of risk earlier in the shootout.
It must have felt so great for Lunin to get even with Silva for embarrassing him so badly with the opener at the Bernabéu.
Interesting too that Madrid's last three penalties were taken by defenders.

That’s a grate story, I also predicted Modric to miss his pen. It’s a shame but I think the guy needs to hang up his boots.
Where does Toni Kroos rank in terms of great midfielders?
I've really not watched much European league football over the last decade or so, but most times I see him in the CL or international tournaments he's generally excellent.
Forgot to add - I'm asking because I rarely see Toni Kroos get discussed to the levels other great midfielders do, but surely with his record he's up there?
So Kepa didn’t play his part then.

I recall Nick seemed to think him and Modric were on a par, I was dumbfounded and suggested it was due to Spurs bias. I summoned IOAG who stated that it was night and day between them.

@Tu Meke, I'm not the best person to ask, as I've never been Kroos' biggest fan. On form he's a great footballer, but he also goes through lengthy 'meh' periods.
Modric's twice the footballer Kroos is, and that's being very generous to the latter.
