Would be funny if he goes back one someone else has rebuilt the team and wins the CL again. Especially if it’s Mourinho he replaces.

Poor Wahl!

Wahl would do his nut.

Thoughts on Chelsea shelving their plans for a new stadium, Sideshow?

Looks to me like Roman isn’t willing to put his hand in his pocket and Chelsea don’t want to fall away from the top by having to be more frugal with their transfers.

Wenger favourite to take over.

Yeah that could be the case. The sale of Wembley could have an impact also. Didn’t you have an agreement to move there? It could be quite costly if you have to look elswhere due to the sale.

It could be depending on his plans for the stadium. I think it’s a combination of Wembley, Roman’s visa and having to curtail spending that has seen the plan shelved. Could be wrong, but they make sense.

I think you will. But even if not it safeguards the potential reduction in transfer and wage budget in the future due to any stadium move.

For all the talk of Roman getting bored I think it’s more a case of being piiiiissed of Chelsea cannot reastablish themselves as a big player in Europe. And your transfer policy has been as a result of that.

You still spend big, but a lot is offset by sales and I’m wondering if that has been with the stadium move in mind, as well as ffp.

Interesting times at Chelsea regardless.

ZZ showed himself to be a pragmatic manager..no tactical genius though

Whenever we get a "proper" manager with "ideas" n Shiite about how the game should be played..rather than a manager who knows how to get along with the monster egos the players have, and lets them play (almost as they want)...we do bad..and it never lasts (Benitez for example)

Maybe we should just give the job to Guti

no seriously..maybe we should ?

Hard to know what Madrid’s strategy will be this summer. Both in terms of player and manager recruitment. They can go pretty much any way of their choosing and will still likely be successful.

that's more Spanish than Bale has uttered in 5 years !

Imagine Kane speaking Spanish when he goes there.

posted on 31/5/18

The club should pen it into their contracts that they have to take at least 5 hours a week of Spanish until they're able to maintain basic conversation.

posted on 31/5/18

Kane can’t maintain basic conversation in English.

Read that Bayern are looking to sell Thiago, Boateng, Bernat and Vidal.

Too many latinos for their liking?

Not a bad shout.

I wouldn’t rule out Mr. Allegri Tactics either. Madrid is the one job I could see him turning his back on Juve for.
