Bur Icardi is arguably better. And from what I’ve seen doesn’t bottle it in big games, seems to thrive on it.

Read that Allegri wants a faster striker as well. So I can see why this makes sense from Juve’s perspective.

It’d be completely dumb from Inter’s. They talk a lot but Inter’s owners have ambitions of overtaking Juve. This isn’t gonna help them do that.

Only way it makes sense from their perspective is if ffp is really hurting them and they can get Higuain and money to strengthen other areas, and they view Lautaro Martinez as being ready to be the main man in a few years when Higuain is completely finished.

Icardi’s missus is his agent isn’t she? I heard she’s a nightmare to negotiate with.

Yeah losing your captain and best player to one of your biggest rivals would wind up a few I’d imagine.

Good point about motivation. Icardi is clearly highly motivated playing for Inter - probably the only reason he’s still there - and Higuain won’t give a crap.
