The original The Matrix.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
By far in terms of influence. To this day the only sci fi film to make me think whether it's linked to real life
Total Recall was a great movie, the original with Arnie not the stupid remake!

Of course the original Star Wars, the first movie I ever saw at the movie theatre and the iconic opening sequence with the binary sunset on Tattoine!
Alien.....in Space no-one can hear you scream!

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians

I think that one took place only in your head!
I thought that Disney's John Carter was a good film and story!
Btw Bladerunner 2049 has rave reviews think I'll be going to watch it on the big screen myself soon!

Going to see Blade Runner 2049 at IMAX Sunday innit
Jurassic Park, The Martian, District 9, The Thing, a small budget but very good film called Coherence, Her
I do love Interstellar too, even though many may scoff at the film
District 9
What a film that was, watched it on holiday knowing nothing about it
Top 3 though would be: The Thing (I consider it Sci - Fi more than horror), the Matrix 1, Interstellar

Agreed Thudd, it's a shame a sequel has never been made, think there's a lot more questions to answer than the original provides
