Watched the original blade runner for 30-40 mins before I turned it off. Don't get the love for the movie as I thought it was boring (might try watching again).
Love watching Jurassic Park especially JW. Aliens is amazing to watch. Interstellar was amazing and a mind fak just thinking about it. Terminator is great and I also love Starship Troopers lol. Must have watched that 100 times when I was younger.
Alien is still a class movie
2001: A space odyssey
Blade Runner
The Empire Strikes Back
The Matrix is garbage.
Off with the Mrs to watch the new Bladerunner this afternoon.
I won’t post spoilers 😂
Like we don’t know what happens anyway
Sci-fi films? Zzzzzzz
Massive Matrix fan is here.
Star Wars films are my favourite films let alone just sci fi
I have always found Star Wars to be very childish, and only really revered by the more nerdish of men.
Overrated
If I was to pick a kids film, it would probably be Ghostbusters. Great film, an amazing cast/writers and funny as fack.
Big shout to Back to the Future, and I loved Flight of the Navigator as a kid too.
The Matrix is probably still my #1. They missed a trick not just harvesting cows, but still....
1 Aliens

Loads more to name too! One of my fav genre!
Watching blade runner 2049 today by the way!
Star Trek The motion Picture
was about the worst. Not sure of the best. Thinking back to the first time I saw them, Star Wars (at the cinema as a 5/6 year old), Total Recall, Aliens (I was a bit young to appreciate Alien when I first saw it), I used to like the original The Day the Earth Stood Still when it was an afternoon film as a kid (back in the days of 3 channels before or after the 3.00pm kick off game live on TV on a Saturday).
Robocop was great in its day. Surprised no one else has mentioned it.
Alien
2001 A space odyssey
Interstellar

My favourite film genre sci-fi. Got interested in 75 with Space 1999 hitting the small screen. Was never that keen on early Trek movies but was converted by Patrick Stewarts Picard. Love the new ones. Marvel films are quality. Space Odessey, Forbidden Planet, early Aliens, just so many.

Anyone seen the film Predestination?

It's a sci-fi film with Ethan Hawke in Sizz. Quite good but fairly hard to follow. Without giving any spoilers away it's a pretty messed up story.
