It is what it is, this is what should have been in place when we first heard about covid. Would not have needed the large scale lockdown.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
*Boring pedantry police warning*
It isn't fascism; it's authoritarianism.
I think it's important that we make the distinction and use the correct language, because it's important that when the argument is made, people can't just reject it because the label doesn't apply.
What we are seeing though, inarguably, is a calculated shift towards a more authoritarian system delivering more power directly into the hands of government, and the cabinet of ministers in particular, whilst removing independent scrutiny and accountability; and at the same time, new, systemic restrictions on freedom of speech and the right to protest introduced for the general populous.
People will still vote for it

I assume you refer to his views on homos3xuality?
Is homosexuality a banned word?
That along with the anti semetic and anti trans comments aye
Obviously not. I thought it would be a bit weird for that to be a banned word.

Not even sure what legal grounds he would have to have his name removed anyway. There was a petition a few years ago (to get him removed from shortlist) because of his views on homos3xuality (cheers SatNav for the get around ).
