So tired of the UK getting involved in others conflicts.

Many issues at home and we spend billions on other mess. Time for this little country to get off centre stage.

he's got all his bases covered

built up a huge reserve of gold to fund war,

not bothered about western sanctions, because the west has lost its economic power now....china, his mate, is now were the trading is to be done

Russia is barely in China’s top ten trading partners. If the Chinese believe that support for Russian interests materially threatens their ability to trade effectively with the US, the EU, and the rest of the West they’ll drop Putin like a hot stone.

The US’s trade with China alone is way more than ten times (fifteen times?) larger than Russia’s.
