Nigel Farage might be ForCEd to leave the UK because, solely based on his info, his unnamed bank are nullifying his accounts. In typical outraged victim mode, he blames, the unseen hand of Remain corporations, the EU and Chris Bryant.

Well done Chris!

I wonderski ver he might be welcomeski.

Devoid of legal and practical ideas.
I have an idea, why not employ more home office asylum assessor
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Would be wonderful but the only ‘ammo’ Braverman and co have is ‘illegals’ coming over. Solve that as an issue and they have even less to distract people with than they have now. Which is pretty scant as it is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's transparently obvious that they've no intention on either stopping the boats or tackling immigration, like you say, it mere ammo to fire up the hard of thinking Tory base, those dunderheids that thought Truss and her Tufton St economic plan was just beautiful.

I understand the delay/prevention of asylum claims was a political choice. In that asylum case outcomes had stagnated. Therefore exacerbating the problem.

Sabotaging/undermining the asylum system is a problem created by the government.

High Street banks want absolutely no exposure to Russia right now, wonder if that's relevant here 🤔

🚨 | NEW: Rishi Sunak is planning to SACK Suella Braverman in the next few weeks as he tries to save his govt with a Cab reshuffle

Tory source: “At the moment he is on course to miss all five of his pledges. Somebody has to take the blame and it won't be him."

Absolutely hilarious on QT, quoting Braverman as saying the majority of the public will be disappointed with the Appeal Court ruling and then asking the audience where not a single person put their hand up to support the Rwanda policy, not one.

Even the Telegraph Brexit editor and former director of the tax payers' alliance said the courts had done them a favour by saying it was illegal before they got a chance to show it is unworkable.

BBC on the killing which has kicked off the rioting in France:

‘Police initially suggested Nahel drove his car towards them to injure them, but footage later showed he was shot at point-blank range by an officer pointing his weapon at him through the driver's window.’

It would appear the French police have taken a leaf out of the British and US forces’ playbook: If you’ve done something wrong, make up a story about what happened, get it out to the press sharpish, and just hope the truth wasn’t captured on video.

I think a lot of people would have at least a little more faith in them if they just told the facking truth about what actually happened - which is literally the very least they could do - after they’ve killed a child..

Personally, I’m not a fan of ‘ACAB’. There are undoubtedly some honest, decent police officers about.

I wouldn’t trust any given force anywhere in the world as an institution for a split second though, and I’m tempted to believe that if not All CAB, then Most CAB or at least Far Too Many CAB.

The Tory mouse on QT who looks like she is about to burst into tears if you shouted Boo to her.. with regard to the question, "why cant I get to see my 'GP"? Clearly doesnt seem to know what Primary Care does and what Secondary Care does within the NHS.

Racist discrimination in American higher education admissions has been struck down by the Supreme Court. Excellent news.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely. It’s not only clearly racist in nature but demonstrably actually harms many of those whom it intends to help.

Ie. If you put me into an Ivy League university having scored notably lower than the majority of entrants then I will struggle versus going to a slightly lesser but more suitable university. Not that it’s not also highly relevant that others will lose out that deserve entry or that others will have to score even higher partly because they are Asian.

It’s clearly ridiculous and a backwards measure.

Improve schooling options from childhood years through to adolescence and let meritocracy thrive. Not money, not racial backgrounds, not daddy’s connections; just aptitude.

Once again absolutely disgraceful by the BBC.

Helen Whately (hardly the Tories most polished performer) had the entire room against her, it was an hour of watching a puppy get kicked.

It was tantamount to bullying and if they can't find a more balanced audience than that they shouldn't bother.

It used to be a cracking show but it's just an hour long party political broadcast for Labour these days.

Fiona Bruce stated at least twice that there were a lot of Tory voters in the audience.

Hardly the BBC's fault that they weren't cut from the same cloth as Nads and Jacob.

You only have to watch GB News for half an hour to see that loads of folk support the Rwanda policy (I don't) but if those people aren't represented in the audience the whole show is a waste of time.

If anybody thinks that was good viewing or healthy debate last night they should give their head a wobble.

RE the French riots, wtf is 'involuntary homicide' if it isn't murder in this case?

No way is it even manslaughter if the officer pulled his gun out of his holster, pointed it at the victim then shot him from point blank range.

There are dozens of them. Dozens!

Oh please

Watching GB news is about as healthy as licking the toilet bowl in a public bog.

Only ultra Right Wing loons think spending £150k+ to send a migrant to Rwanda is justifiable and thankfully they are a microscopic minority.

That's not even taking into account the moral implications.

GB News is entertaining in a weird sort of way if you want to listen to an openly gay immigrant railing against er, immigration and civil liberties.

The novelty wears off after about 5 minutes.

It's the lowest charge for taking life, what that cop appeared to do was lose the plot because a young fella didn't listen to him.
I don't know enough, the young lad might have been up to no good, but he didn't deserve to die and definitely didn't deserve to die at, apparently, the hands of a hot headed state executioner.

I love the way GB News (which is gaining viewers and picking up awards) is vilified on here.

Yet Covid rule breaker Burley and the openly lefty biased BBC are regarded as just fine.

Tv News is getting like the papers in that folk now choose a channel that suits their political views.

Echo chamber full of opinion over actually news.
Do they cover sport or do they just have perma-raging talking heads fuming about woke sports people?

Got their breakfast show on at the moment with Stephen and Anne.

The show has lots of energy and laughter unlike dead behind the eyes Burley with her lefty ladies coffee morning chat.
