Having spoken to people on the three pro Palestinian marches I’ve been on in recent weeks they all insist it’s just as simple as wanting freedom from the river Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea.
Nothing at all about eradicating Israel. Just the freedom to exist anywhere from the river to the sea. The right win Media will have you believe it’s some evil chant. Quite the opposite.

But geographically impossible without the end of the Israeli state, so it's use is naive and plays into the hands of the media....imo.

I don’t think any of the protesters should worry about playing into the hands of the media tbf. The fact they don’t have the freedom to exist in a lot of that area is a reflection of the apartheid they suffer so the chant is really a protest chant rather than some kind of jihadi cry of death etc.
Songs about freedom sometimes are just that.
Obviously not obvious as that is my point; your idyllic scene would never happen.

I think what Satters is saying is that to have a Palestinian state that stretches from the river to the sea, it would require perhaps a splitting of Israel into 2, and thus a perceived end to the Israeli state?
FWIW I don’t think it is intended to be anti-Semitic, and likewise from what I have seen and heard of the pro-Palestine and pro-ceasefire demonstrations I’ve seen, it has been about Palestinians having a nation free from apartheid oppression. I appreciate that some commentators will have their own takes on it though.

I didn’t say bombs, I specifically said and I’ve said this to you many times: Israel is probably going on a drawn-out detailed destruction of the entire area which will take months and months.

I am saying that this is what I think Israel will do.
As for your claim that if you give Hamas everything they want the people will turn on them, castrate them and they’ll just disappear to be replaced by a more peaceful form of government, I think is deeply flawed to say the least.

It does make sense when you think Israel are going to do what I think they are going to do.
Which again, seeing as you struggle to properly read what others write, will be a detailed campaign of destruction for months and months. Gaza is a very small place.

I think what Satters is saying is that to have a Palestinian state that stretches from the river to the sea, it would require perhaps a splitting of Israel into 2, and thus a perceived end to the Israeli state?
FWIW I don’t think it is intended to be anti-Semitic, and likewise from what I have seen and heard of the pro-Palestine and pro-ceasefire demonstrations I’ve seen, it has been about Palestinians having a nation free from apartheid oppression. I appreciate that some commentators will have their own takes on it though.

I didn’t say bombs, I specifically said and I’ve said this to you many times: Israel is probably going on a drawn-out detailed destruction of the entire area which will take months and months.

I am saying that this is what I think Israel will do.
As for your claim that if you give Hamas everything they want the people will turn on them, castrate them and they’ll just disappear to be replaced by a more peaceful form of government, I think is deeply flawed to say the least.

If you give Palestinians their rights, end apartheid and provide a path to statehood, they will have no reason to back Hamas. The shouldn't even have to ask for human rights as those are inherent, and their denial is why Hamas exists.

Which again, seeing as you struggle to properly read what others write, will be a detailed campaign of destruction for months and months. Gaza is a very small place.
