If I were still in the UK and living where I grew up, I’d be voting Green in a (spectacularly) safe Labour seat.

Partly to pess off my dad’s missus who canvasses for Labour.

Have we decided who we’re voting for on Thursday lads
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm voting Lib Dem. Most likely to beat the Tories in my area. Anyone else is a wasted vote.

I'm in a new constituency now. The new boundaries mean I fall into Tiverton and Minehead.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m going for the Dems too, I feel like they’re the only left wing party that’s gonna make some good gains this election. Although living where I am in London it’ll be a wasted vote for them.

Labour will probably win in my constituency, voting Lib Dem though in the hopes that it pushes the Tories down to 3rd

The Lib Dems are very much a centrist party, with (economically) centrist policies mate.

They aren’t remotely left wing.

The FT has no fixed political allegiance, but this week Labour will have our backing.

This generation of Tories has squandered its reputation as the party of business. Sir Keir Starmer is better placed to provide the leadership the country needs

The US supreme court has ruled that former presidents are entitled to some degree of immunity from criminal prosecution, dramatically reducing the likelihood that the federal criminal case against Donald Trump on charges he plotted to stop the transfer of power will proceed before the 2024 election.

The court’s conservative majority – which Trump helped create – found that presidents were protected from prosecution for official actions that extended to the “outer perimeter” of his office, but could face charges for conduct undertaken in a personal or private manner.
-----
So if I'm reading this right they've basically just ruled a President can do literally whatever the hell he wants so long as he does it as President?

"The US Supreme Court rules former presidents are entitled to absolute immunity from prosecution for official acts taken while in office, but have no immunity for unofficial acts"

His demanding the Georgian officials 'find' him thousands of votes, for example, is an unofficial act.

A Reform candidate has suspended her campaign and defected to the Conservatives because the “vast majority” of her fellow candidates are “racist, misogynistic and bigoted”.
Georgie David, the Reform candidate for West Ham and Beckton, said she had been “frustrated and dismayed” by Nigel Farage’s failure to tackle concerns about Reform’s candidates, though she said she did not believe Reform’s “senior leadership” are racist.

Has she only just realised that ? ๐Ÿ˜น

I mean, at this stage with the Tories, you wouldn’t rule it out, would you?
