The lack of enthusiasm for Labour at this election really is striking.

Among those who plan to vote Labour tomorrow, the party is much less well-liked than in 2019, 2017 or 2015 (no data before that).

Quite a flimsy voter coalition that could unravel in the absence of results.

I don't think Labour having a 7/10 rating down from a 7.5/10 rating in 2019 is a sign there's no enthusiasm and the party could quickly unravel.

That axis is making it look a lot worse than it actually is.

There is a $240m democrat war chest on the Biden/Harris ticket. If they don't let Harris run that money has to be refunded to party donors, and they have to start again. My guess is if Biden steps down Harris will run, and they will see how that goes. They may, if it goes badly have to then replace Harris with anothe candidate....what a feckin mess

Might be wrong but isn't there a process that candidates have to get a nomination through their convention, normally it's a nod through because candidates have been through the primaries, but an incumbent can be challenged at convention.
I don't think Harris would challenge but Newsome might.

You are right, what I think may happen is that they will tout Harris running up to the convention and see how she does in the polls. If she struggles then they can nominate someone else at the convention.

Also, I don't rule out a completely new candidate entering the fray. Biden is a gonna this weekend methinks
