Is there actually a better celebrity and more compassionate celebrity on earth in a position of power than Taylor Swift

Unbelievable what she’s been doing. Given more help to all these cities in the last few weeks with all these food bank donations than the fackin tories have in 14 years

Absolutely incredible woman, and that’s without all the other stuff she does

Got to agree with Oscar

You’re absolutely right - she’s been a fantastic defender of immigrants and LGBTQ+ rights, and value support to Biden and the Democrats.

Glad Oscar is finally on board with the woke agenda

Heard a roundup of the headlines on the radio earlier. The RW rags are cranking up the scaremongering to fever pitch. It would he funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

Braverman and Farage leading the Reform/Tory coalition into 2029

Did you see the latest spectacular Candace Owen comment Robb (above)?

Her development into the female Alex Jones is basically complete now.

Sat Nav one time couldn't shut up about her and even put her in a list for possible Republican presidential/vice presidential candidates.

When I listed all her geniusness, that poster that was called Just Shoot commented that he had never seen a black woman destroyed like that and worst of all, by a wokie like me.

Labour have definitely slipped in the polls now, they’ve been overtaken by the SNP in Scotland with one poll that could be an outlier however. Last 48 hours and the Tories very slowly close the gap. But still too large to bridge.

Its all this talk about 'an unchecked Labour landslide'. What does that even mean in English? Im sure Sunak would think that an unchecked Tory landslide would be a good thing.

It’s some of the don’t knows that are coming back to the Tories, the Farage gaff about Ukraine has made some of the Reform voters go back to them too.

Polls were always going to tighten ever so slightly closer to the election as shy Tory voters and the likes will always go back to them.

Likewise I expect some prospective Green voters to vote Labour when it comes to it tomorrow.

I'm moreso talking seats where the Greens have no hope of winning.

Some will 100% be too worried about the Tories sneaking in to follow through voting Greens.

Quite a few former Labour voters I know are (very vocally) voting Green this time.

They have quite a lot of popular high profile backers (the likes of Coogan, Hugh Grant, Monbiot, Fearnley-Whittingstall, Grace Blakeley, etc.) and the message that a Labour victory is a foregone conclusion and Starmer will need voices from the left of centre to hold Labour to account seems to be cutting through somewhat.

I don't doubt it but if you were in a seat that's a relatively close toss up would you really go through with voting Green at the risk of the Tories getting back in locally?

I personally wouldn't and I imagine there's a fair few feeling the same.

Greens have been doing a lot of good work on demonstrating how building vote numbers in seats across multiple elections can eventually deliver results, using Brighton Pavilion as an example (going from fifth, to third, to first across three election cycles).

They have a good social game, and seem to have shored up support amongst the under 30s pretty well.

Relying on the polls and the certainty Labour will win worries me. The electorate defied the polls and.voted against its interests in 2016. Plus with Tory candidates avoiding the Tory brand when campaigning how many Tory voters are going to admit to voting for them in a poll or vox pop?
