Tonight we have seen a terrible and unprovoked attack against Israel by Iran, the world’s chief sponsor of terrorism. There can be no more appeasement. I didn’t know that he’d done that. Credit to him for that one, and we can tick off one of five.

My sentiments stand. The double standard is horrific.

The fact that we are still servicing war planes which have been directly involved in the slaughter and maiming of women and children who have been penned into a small strip of land, with no option of escape, without running water or enough food to support their bodies is an indefensible disgrace.

As of April 2024 it was estimated that Israel had dropped on Gaza over 70,000 (seventy thousand) tons of bombs. Not 70,000 bombs. Seventy thousand TONS of bombs.

That is more than the equivalent of the bombings of Dresden, Hamburg and London combined during the full duration of World War II.

I agree with her that we need to start thinking of the next generation and stop focusing on pensioners all the time, but then in the past couple of days she's literally moaned maternity pay and minimum wage is too high.

Israel's foreign minister says UN Secretary-General António Guterres is "persona non grata" in Israel, and is barred from entering the country.

Israel Katz says his decision is a response to Guterres' failure to "unequivocally condemn" Iran's missile attack on Israel on Tuesday.
