I’ve said so many times as to what I do on here and it never fails. Astonishing really.

The patronising way that anybody on this forum who points out Labours failings is categorised as a puppet of the right wing media is hilarious!!?

Most folk are more than capable of working out for themselves that free gear Keir is a self serving hypocrite.

Looking forward to PMQ's today.

It’s because nobody takes a Tory’s criticism in good faith, it’s quite clearly a result of right wing media talking points.

Two interest rate cuts by the end of the year and projections for it to be down to 3.75% by the end of 2025, from what I’ve been advised.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good news for someone whose fixed rate expires in March
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If it turns out to be correct!

But yes, based on the advice I’ve been given, one might consider a 12 month deal and then fix for a longer term in early 26.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I’ll potentially get a 1/2 year fixed and hedge my bet the interest rate falls below 2% by 2027

Does anyone who excused numerous scandals, law breaking, racist gas lighting, incompetence, bullying, lies and corruption by the previous government have any credibility when it comes to pointing out Labour failings?

Exactly.

Perish the thought that I could come to my own conclusions.

As I said, patronising nonsense.

It's always impressive how many claim to not read RW tabloids while parroting what they say, sometimes verbatim.

Anybody who read my comments in the build up to the GE would know I accepted Labour would win it months before it happened and I also said that the Tory wounds were self inflicted.

However I also made very clear that I had no confidence in Starmer (who I regard as a very underwhelming individual) and in that respect I'm being proved correct.

There's no way he'll be Labour leader going into the next GE.

According to Kay Burley Labour have pulled out of providing a mp for the usual Sky news interview this morning.

I guess it's wise not to put some hapless minister up to try and justify Reeves hypocrisy with the impending NI business rises or Starners ridiculous fixation with Taylor Swift.

I would have thought after Barry G had his picture had taken with Clean Bandit and stuck it on social media (it turned out not to be them) Labour mp's would have taken stock on how dodgy trying to look down with the kids can be.

I find it astonishing that grandmother Rayner is dancing in a DJ booth in Ibiza or 62 year old Starmer goes to see TS twice!!? Why not grow old with some dignity?

I wonder how long before the back benches start coming for Starmer. I knew he'd be a dreadful pm but he's managing to be even worse than I thought.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s probably worse if he did ‘come to his own conclusions’ when these are the conclusions.

Even the Mail came to this conclusion towards the end of the Tories 14 years of misrule.

I don’t think it’ll return to those levels, I think it’ll level out somewhere between 3-3.5%.

But no harm in delaying, I think.

All the best with it.

Generally I find anyone who can’t bring themselves to praise / criticise one side / party don’t have an opinion worth listening to.

When you see it served up on X, it’s incredible that people get sucked into such tribal, binary thinking.
