Is it true that the UK has vaccinated around the same number of people as France and other countries?

You have to have two doses in order to be fully vaccinated. I'm reading that the number of people who are fully vaccinated is about the same in France as the UK. UK have given far more people the first jab but might not have enough for the second and other countries might catch up in a few weeks.

Sounds dodgy to me but not outside the realms of possibility.

Not really, because April is second dose month and they will prioritise so by the end of April it’s likely we’ll have 20 million people fully vaccinated and 35n (in total) would of had at least 1 with 20m fully

France are on about 7m / 2.5m

They basically said in April 90% of vaccinations will be 2nd doses and 10% 1st doses as opposed to the other way round currently. So it’s gonna be hitting 700k+ a day 2nd doses from this week for around the next 6 weeks

Best way to do it, as immunity will last longer when people get the second dose (will be like a top up in essence) and you can get a lot of people the first dose which does the bulk of the work thus reducing deaths and transmission quicker than France or other countries will by not following our blueprint

Apparently there could be a new saliva test that takes 20 seconds to produce results. Could be used at sports venues, airports, terminals and concerts...

I’ll say one thing, there isn’t a doubt in my mind it came from that lab. No idea if it was unintentional or intentional I would imagine unintentional as someone would of secretly picked it up on chatter or it would of come out by now, but either way it came out of that lab and started because of that lab

I do believe it didn’t really get out of Wuhan to other parts of China in any real big way because they did go quick

Wasn't it Boris who refused to meet the Sinn Fein leadership ?

As you rightly said earlier we all share this small island so for obvious reasons it's in the norths interest as well as the south' that everyone gets vaccinated as soon as possible. All in the spirit of the cross border healthcare cooperation that saw southern ambulance personnel help their northern colleagues when the norths infection rates were spiralling out of control.

Testings always tough to compare as we always test the most per population rate by a mile

Like say France and Spain are getting about 20,000 new cases a day from 250k-750k ish tests, we’re getting 5k from nearly 2million
