I think exceptions should be made for certain folk. I had the virus, I've recovered and I haven't been infected again either and we all know how rare it is to get COVID a second time.

I've been doing these rapid tests at work and they're all coming out as negative. Am I really going to be posing much of a danger to others even with the rapid vaccinations we've done?

I'm gonna be keeping my eye on the EU once they get their house in order with their jabs too, because I can't see a bloc who's ideology is basic freedom itself to be forcing their citizens to be taking swabs constantly before entering a cinema.

Worth pointing out there are still the small issues of non-Covid care being crippled, and criminal courts having multi-year backlogs. Not a good time to get ill or have any injustices to fight.

This is very true not just for the UK but worldwide. Courtrooms not functional under covid rules.

New research from Ireland show outdoor transmission of #coronavirus accounted for ONLY 0.1% of cases

Ed Lavelle, professor of biochemistry Trinity College, said findings “really great news and back up a lot of the evidence from the US” showing outside activities inherently safe

Can those who know NOTHING about how pubs work, stop telling us that Vaccine passports are just like ID for age or the Track & Trace system.
That’s nonsense.

A Covid passport has to stop someone at point of entry,
Mon- Sunday,
Open - Close
That’s £800-£1000 for one door person.

That’s if they would allow just one to work..
More likely that TWO doorman will have to be together.
So that’s £1600-2000 per week for a pub..

What normal pub hotel or restaurant can afford that?!!!

I am unsure. I think it could happen but only technically. It will be 'freedom' with an asterisk. The asterisk being sustained social distancing measures, mask uses, compulsory Covid tests and vaccine passports, alongside severely restricted overseas travel.

Makes you wonder the point in getting jabbed

All this does is harm uptake

Oscar can you post your sources. I am not doubting you merely I wouldn't mind having a read of these announcements.

PoliticsForAll on Twitter , they usually post the article and source in the follow up tweet on its own I don’t usually copy that tweet

Usually guardian or telegraph

That’s the thing , even with distancing measures relaxed they wouldn’t make that much extra a week to cover that

Mass testing, vaccine passports - billions are being spent on these policies.

Using a fraction of that money to seriously ramp up cancer awareness would save many lives.

The cancer crisis is here, it's raging and it's costing lives. Forget these schemes & focus on solving that.

Note of caution about the Hartlepool @Survation poll. Unless I'm missing something, only 13 people of 500 in the sample said they voted for the Brexit Party in 2019. Of voters, that's about 3%. In a seat where 26% of voters did last time round.
