Just means that gamblers will get a longer game for their money, probably spending more on refreshments whilst they're playing.
Money spinner.
Sherrif how do these machines work?
I do bet from time to time but through the app, very rarley ever venture into a bookies.
Imo there is a huge issue which is bigger than those machines.
All one needs do is switch on any match and thry will be bombarded with online gambling ads. Imo this is poisoning kids minds and should be banned
What are they playing Mike?

100% it's the biggest issue with gambling IMO, it's all marketed at young men, "The Squad" if you will.
They push this lifestyle of football, gambling and cheeky Nando's.
Is it "The Ladbrook's lads" or something? The campaign they ran where each of the lads was a particular type of gambler.
I'll admit to betting at half time in a gamed cause Ray Winstone's head told me the odds.

I thought it was on the machines like the roulette games etc - the minimum bet being lowered so £2-£50 per chip rather than right up to £100.
Someone can spend thousands in a very short time.
If that person now has to make smaller bets, unless they actually tackle the addiction they're still going to gamble, but it will take a little longer to lose all their money.
In the interests of balance, bingo adverts seem to exclusively target women.

Aren't places like Mecca and other big UK wide Bingo places on the rise again, with younger people than it used to be associated with?
The argument from the betting industry is that if this new maximum becomes law, a huge amount of betting shops will close with the loss of thousands of jobs
--------------------
Absolute rubbish.
I would bet on this working tbh

Not to sure, there was a huge one near me that closed and they blamed it on the smoking ban.
Ironically it was replaced by a casino that is very well attended.

Fair enough, seem to see lots of younger (female) people on about going to Bingo etc on social media. Decent wedges of cash some of them have won too, more than any of my accas last season
