I think the sooner we have a LSE traded derivatives market the better. There is no practicable way of long term short selling.
The thing with bitcoin is that it can be manipulated more so than any stock.

When Warren Buffet says it’s aload of pash that will fail, you listen, but what would he know?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmmmm, you listen, yes... But you also take it with a pinch of salt. that's a bit like the head of McDonalds saying the a vegan burger will fail... He is seeing something that is rising in trend and could change his tried and tested safe places and wants to play it down.
JSP - I think it was you who did an article a few months back about owning five Bitcoins. Have you kept them?
Good on him if he did... Great investment if he wants to cash out now.
Can see this getting bigger and bigger. It's definitely a risk worth taking. Going to invest later on.
I'm thinking that I'm too late to the party.. Could have bought half a bitcoin a few months back for around 2k. Now it's over 6k for a half.

At $20 dollars i thought i was too late, so didnt touch it. I wrote a wallet cracker when it broke $1000. Then shelved commercialising it when it crashed to $300
Admin are you saying you would have stolen other people's bitcoin? Wallet cracking?

No, at the time there were hundreds of multi millionaires who had old wallets "wallet.dat" on their hard drive they had forgot their passwords for. Myself and Admin2 developed a tool to break in to them, that if you had a rough idea of the passwords you might have used, would get you in.
I see. Are you gna invest in the current bitcoin bubble then?

On the tenth and 17th of December two mercantile exchanges are launching long and short futures contracts. Which should send the price up short term. Once the futures markets are on the regulated exchanges you with then later get ETF instruments that allow you to inverse track the bubble
