Invest then so I can make some money
Everything is going down.
I had $900 this time yesterday. That is now $550 but I only started with $100 so I'm still OK.

I once averaged down on an aluminium car door manufacturer ....Initially bought at £2.20.....kept buying more and more is a it dropped. Sold the lot at 12p before they went bust. If you are convinced it is a blip, then fair enough.
Lost about 80% of my profits now
I'm in verge, ripple and po.et atm.
Bitcoin will go under 9k shortly.
Its going back up again fellas. We're all gna be millionaires.
I'm nearly back upto breakeven point now.
All 3 cryptos going up. Where is the logic in all of this. Just random..

It's pretty much random walk. You could do some quite interesting monte carlo simulations. When I'm able to trade crypto derivatives on the LSE.
If you can be botherd you could plot a distribution graph of the daily percentage swings. As well as the mean time interval between 20%+- swings.

There is very little liquidity in Bitcoin, and therefore it is a an instrument always likely to overshoot in either direction. To be honest the fact that there is a bitcoin thread on a football forum probably demonstrates just what a bubble it is.............be careful of it
Admin 1.... comparing to the stock market only goes so far.
This is the wild west.... no regulation, totally free to inside trade with no fear of prison terms.
There is literally nothing to stop whales, coin CEOs, mining companies etc meeting and deciding on a price dump (or pump).

Liquidity manipulation is an interesting one. Iota in particular has the 5th highest cap $x billions , but it's likely 95% of the coins are held by the insiders and their friends. Even stuff like withdrawal limits on exchanges create artificial behaviour.
You know even the devs had to buy any iota they wanted to hold?

There is literally nothing to fundamentally support the bubble not popping back to close to zero. However there until recently no regulated way to short the market. I'm genuinely itching to short it to zero.
There is a head and shoulders neckline break around the 12400 level....if you are gonna short it then wait for a bounce to around there and get out if it breaks 14000
I've said a few times on this thread that the bubble can burst...
It's a risk we all know... I've even been through one after mt gox
But some of the tech is not going to go away .... bubble or not. I'm happy to support some of this tech with my money. Simple
Bearing in mind that it is only in recent days that people have been able to short these trading instruments I am fairly certain it can only go lower until these longs are shaken out and the balance of shorts to long positions reverses.
For those who want to play it, Bitcoin is very much a sell on bounce trade for me, not a buy the dip trade

The short contracts are minimum order $78,000 and 40% margin. So the market is still very geared towards long positions. Even the withdrawal restrictions make the unravelling difficult. Once the 1:1 and turbo etfs get approval. I'd expect a blood bath.
