England needed 200 . they should easily got it compared to where they were at one point. but they stopped bothering. was like right we have lost 3 wickets to daft shots. nothing will be said. so we will carry on doing it

hales fails for the 6th out of 7th time these odi's

and roy fails again. hes averaging something just over 19 opening the batting. ITS ok he got 180 in 1 innings.. that's him bedded in for life.

Roy is like Afridi. One good innings in a blue moon.

posted on 10/2/18

Yep, but he plays for Surrey. so he gets picked..
He and hales do not have great techniques at all. they cant play balls that are straight.. Hales looks like hes chopping wood with an axe. no give at all his foot movement and Roy is the same. Plays with his arms there is no bend in the shot.

But most of all they couldn't careless there is a mind set where the England players can attack and get themselves out anyway they seem fit. When your Captain does it. Then what else do you expect.

For all England's great batting in Odi since the last world cup. Our win ratio is still very poor.

Australia field are on fire but as ever with T20, if England hang around for a couple of overs they can quickly shift the run rate up from 7 to 9 an over.

looks a tricky wicket for batting if the bowlers can put it in the right spot. bit two paced, so anyone just throwing the bat or playing premeditated shots can get caught out.

England wont get passed 130 and Australia will knock that off in 14 overs..

I was pretty accurate.. England are useless. Its ok am sure the ecb are getting their pockets full of tv rights while their team achieves nothing.

Roy playing like a tailender

posted on 13/2/18

how many times does Roy get caught in the inner circle ?? ridiculous. The likes of Guptil square bat the shots. Roy tries to up lift the ball with the base of the bat and it goes nowhere.

Remember after his lucky ton they were saying he should be in the test side

1 innings of 180 doesn't make a player. Hes failed ever since.. hes averaging 19 opening the batting. considering the field restrictions in the first 6 overs. his record is utter garbage.

good chase by England but another loss in the defeat column.

Roy is pretty poor in T20i which is strange as he doesn't need to alter his game to how he plays ODI. Not quite sure the balance of the team is right with only 5 bowling options. We're missing Moeen and Stokes but the batting hasn't been up to much either, Root has been another miss with his ability to anchor the innings.
