Agree, he may be too vain to hear criticism.
At the end of round 1, the trainer was talking about this that and the other. AJ picks up on 1 thing he says, "the rhythm's better?" That was all he wanted to hear, just "you're the best champ, you look so good".
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Angel and Garcia need to go. Garcia was most definitely there just for the payday.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well he’s just got himself sacked I imagine, you see his comments? Ironic after them muppets told him he was winning

Garcia confirming that he was just there for the money, with those statements.
who needs enemies when you have team mates like Robert Garcia!!!
Clearly he's been dumped and's sore about it. Pathetic, Even worse than AJ.
He needs to get rid of Angel Fernandez too.
Garcia is spot on though. AJ has never recovered from the Ruiz loss. He lost his invincibility and there is no way back.
It's less about the veracity of what Garcia is saying and more about the lack honesty on fight night. When AJ is coming back to the corner and you're telling him he's winning the fight after every round, you can't then question his mental strength after the fight has ended.

part of a trainers job is to build up a fighters confidence especially after a loss.

I expect there to be no deal made, both sides making out the other was in the wrong.
AJ should be only getting a pittance compared to Fury though from the pot.

Well that's what I was thinking, but if AJ wants back in the big time this is his opportunity isn't it? Isn't there an argument to think he might just say, 'name the terms let's get it on'?

Not impossible but improbable.
Fury talks a lot of nonsense. He will call out AJ today and then retire tomorrow. If there are any talks, they will be quickly ended by Fury asking for a 80-20 split.

Only one fight should be happening and that's Fury vs Usyk. Fury is a gigantic coward if he doesn't take this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Usky has said he doesn't want to fight again this year.
Thought it was Fury being Fury but Hearn confirmed talks have begun with warrens son and Warren also confirmed they’re exploring if it would be a joint PPV etc
Looking close
Win win for AJ. Was probably looking at people like Joyce, Dubois and Fury's cousin as next opponents but now out of the blue he gets a shot at the WBC.
AJ still brings a lot to the table but something like 70/30 in Fury favour is reasonable.
Surprised people are buying into this.
There is more chance of Frank and Eddie being lovers than Fury vs AJ happening any time soon.
Not buying it yet. Just speculating. Fury supposedly has a date and venue for late December agreed and is looking for a fighter. He will claim he offered Usyk and AJ a shot but they turned it down so this is why he is fighting Del boy.

‼️ WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman has now clarified that Andy Ruiz Jr vs Luis Ortiz was a "semi-final eliminator" and so is Deontay Wilder vs Robert Helenius on Oct 15th. Ruiz Jr vs Wilder/Helenius will be final eliminator to determine Tyson Fury's next mandatory. [

‼️ Tyson Fury has now revealed that his offer to Anthony Joshua is a 60/40 purse split deal for a straight shot at his WBC heavyweight world title this year.
Very generous offer
No belt
Lost 3 of his last 5 fights
Shot at the title Fury doesn’t even have to give AJ
That’s very generous
60/40 is very generous but I won't get my hopes up about this one until it's signed. It's a clever move from Fury imo, it's still a massive money fight and he'll get AJ at the best time before he gets a chance to rebuild. A win would add a lot to his legacy because he hasn't fought that many tough opponents.
