I wouldn't but I get your point.
I know that who people portray themselves on here is probably very different to who they actually are in real life, but I would genuinely love to know Winston, or get a glimpse of him in the real world. I literally cannot imagine what he is like. He can't be like this, it wouldn't work in the real world.
..............
If he ever went into some of the pubs I used to go in he would get the crap kicked out of him as soon as he started to move his lips in a speaking motion.

You don't understand. That much has been evidenced by your replies.
You may think you do, but you don't.
If you did, you'd be able to address certain points I have raised.
You still cannot address the question of how soon can a player be a flop.
Apparently, Lindelof can be labelled a flop after 3 months.
But then be a success 6 months later.
It makes no sense because, of course, you're wrong.
You don't understand. That much has been evidenced by your replies.

He does understand. He doesn't agree with you. No one does.
You are wrong like you always are. Let it go.
Stop replying to Winston, soon he'll has no one left to filter.

I have addressed it. I don't know the answer. Since it's subjective there is no time limit on it. Flop on this context has no time but in my opinion Lindelof has been a flop. Shared by journalists who have labelled him a flop. Everybody seems to be able to understand the meaning of flop but you and a couple of United fans who don't want to admit to Pogba being a flop.
Another case is Karius, who many would have labelled a flop until a couple of months ago when his performances picked up. Now some people may believe he's not a flop, some people may believe he still is.
Your whole understanding of the word flop in this context is wrong. That's why you can't understand why people consider Pogba a flop.

Of course I don't care when you decided. The point was always about mocking how if you redefine the word flop, as you have done, then it becomes possible to call a player a flop after their first match.
That alone should indicate why you're talking nonsense.
"Everybody seems to be able to understand the meaning of flop"
This desperation to back yourself up with the idea that 'everyone' agrees with you is pathetic. A few children on this forum is not everyone.
Anyone who labelled Karius a flop would have been wrong because it was too soon to make a judgement.
Thank you, yet again, for demonstrating my point rather nicely.
Anyone who labelled Karius a flop would have been wrong because it was too soon to make a judgement.

But it was correct when they made it wasn't it?
The answer is YES.
At present Pogba has been a flop. This time next year that might not be the case, but it is the case right now.
Do you understand?

Semantics.
The point being it's too soon for Pogba to be listed as a flop. As we've discussed.

This may just be a Post of the Year contender.
It's beautiful.
You still cannot address the question of how soon can a player be a flop.
======
Why does this need addressing? Its irrelevant in this thread because Pogba has been at United for nearly two years.
Whatever the time limit is to be considered a flop, one thing that isn't debatable is that Pogba is past that time limit.
So as far as Pogba goes your question is irrelevant because he has been at United long enough to be labelled a flop.
Anyone who labelled Karius a flop would have been wrong because it was too soon to make a judgement.
======
No, they'd have been wrong because he wasn't getting opportunities, not because its too early.
Pogba on the other hand plays just about every game. Huge difference.
At present Pogba has been a flop. This time next year that might not be the case, but it is the case right now.

If you don't care stop asking. There is no time on it. The term is subjective so you can have the opinion that somebody is a flop when you want. Many may disagree with you based on your time of labelling him a flop and that's fine.
And yes it would be possible to call somebody a flop after the first game but that would be a ridiculous opinion, as we both know.
It's not desperation from me to show you that most people agree that Pogba is a flop and in general what a flop means, it's me trying to help you reevaluate what you believe. If all these people are saying it, perhaps it could be true, no?
I didnt mean you, VC, I meant it in a general way.

fair play, sometimes a thread comes along and unites fans from all parts of the world supporting many different clubs, even rivals.
I pretty much like to think I am not tribal on here. I will often agree with other teams fans if I think they are right. Even ones I am constantly banging heads with.
And in this instance the dips are right. Even though I have said Pogba isn't a flop because I didn't have high expectations of him in the first place.
All the United fans who thought we were getting a megga star have to conclude he has flopped.
Agree, but you have to wait until Pogba leaves United to label him anything. Until then he is not to be judged. According to Winston.
IMO
If United get an offer for Pogba of anything near 50 million we should cut our losses and sell him.
Saying that, there is nothing I would like to do more than have to write an article on here saying I was well wrong about Pogba.

I am little surprised that this one didn't hit 1000 comments. It seems Winston has accepted defeat. for TOOR to stick with it and show the little illiterate Winston who's a flop and who not.
