I was asking because it helpfully demonstrated my point - that being, that the idea you can call a player a flop after a month of the season is ludicrous.

It's not a matter of opinion, it's just wrong.

If you accept that (regardless of whether that is what you did yourself) then you accept that the term 'flop' must have some sort of timing related to the definition.

The fact is, you are not deemed to have failed halfway through a task. You are not a failure when you're less than halfway through your time at a club. Therefore, you are not a flop at that stage.

You can keep running around the issue all you like, but this will not change.

That makes so much sense Winston. Aspas didn’t flop at Liverpool, he just got sold before he was able to complete his task with us.

Makes so much sense when you put it like that.

He wrote sarcastically.

Why would it not be serious?

It is yet another clear explanation of why you're wrong.

I just thought that after days of debate where we still hadn't agreed and then days of not debating it further we concluded that we weren't going to agree. Then you come back with the same points. I'd love to get back into it and all but needless to say, I'm bored with it.

I don't tend to use the forum when I'm not sat at my desk, so for me it was just about replying.

But yes, it is a little dull trying to explain a fairly basic point to you over and over again.

That’s what he does.

You end up too bored to argue he tells himself it’s a victory aaaand repeat.

I guess I was too early calling Winston a flop as he returned to the thread and continued arguing.

If Pogba rips it up in the CL quarters tonight, we might need a re-vote

I think he proved the voters right, by facking up and getting substituted at home against relegated West Brom

Winston, after today, still think Pogba hasn't flopped?

Safe to say, one year later, Pogba has flopped. He doesnt need to have finished his contract to make that call now.
