So apart from Party Jenkins walking away from WW3 does anyone have a clue whats happening at DC Studios? Do Gunn and Saffran even know yet what they want to do or are they still deciding?
Hopefully they have a solid plan and aren't wavering in terms of what direction they want to go in. I'm slightly concerned that it's the latter at this stage.

Sounded to me like they have a plan for the most part but some things are still up in the air. I can only see the transition period as being messy but excited to see where it leads.

Well in fairness Syl Abdul was right about Cavill being in BA and coming back as Superman before anyone else was willing guarantee it. But trust you to bring that up as something to try to have a dig with .
Obviously that was before Gunn and Saffran were appointed heads of newly formed DC Studios and the situation appears to have changed yet again regarding Cavill, although we still don't know for sure.
It's clearly a fluid, changing situation at Warner now which is shame as so far it's coming across as shambolic as it was under Hamada. Not a good look tbh.
Allowing Cavill to announce his return as Superman and then not go ahead with that (if that is actually niwt the latest plan) after all the previous dramas surrounding his role as Superman probably needs it's own movie made about it
Whatever direction DC Studios go in they need to have the courage of their convictions and stick to a plan and course. Public faith in WB/DC couldn't be much lower right now. Gunn and Saffran have a huge job ahead.

James Gunn is quite difficult to work out. He's tweeted a pic of Kingdom Come so presumably that might be part of his plan. Yeah next week is allegedly when Gunn and Saffran are presenting their new plan to Zaslav so presumably he has power to not approve it.
If Zaslav wants this newly created DC Studios to have the trinity at the forefront then I'm not convinced Gunn is the right guy. He's clearly going to want to introduce all sorts of weird characters like Bat Mite which doesn't fit with a very serious movie universe.
I fear it's going to be comedic and wacky like his Guardians and SS movies. Which are great and very fun movies, I couldn't stop laughing through SS, but not sure I want that in every DC movie. Certainly not in a Batman or Superman movie lol.

I think we just need to wait and see what unfolds Stringer as it's too easily to listen to all these different media reports. Gunn already dismissed the Hollywood Reporter as containing some half truths and some not truths at all.
I think Gadot is staying as WW, she already put a tweet out saying words to that effect. It's just Patty Jenkins who's definitely out of the picture now. And Cavill may still be in as Superman. If I had to put money on it I'd say that he will be DC's Superman for at least a couple more movies.
There would be such a huge backlash if they changed course yet again. Not to mention a huge lawsuit if he has signed up to play him again.

It's not on the same level as the first two Nolan Bat movies but I enjoyed it more than Dark Knight Rises.
Nolan’s don’t feel like a comic book film, it’s why they are great. You could replace Batman with just a run of mill vigilante and they’d work pretty well. The Batman wasn’t a bad effort, better than most of marvels output

There was never an official announcement by Warner that Cavill was back as Superman but you'd have to assume that behind the scenes contracts were signed for Cavill to announce he was leaving the Witcher and that he is returning as Superman. And then being on talk shows to talk about how he's back as Superman.

Yeah it would be a serious embarrassment, especially as it appears he gave up his role on the very popular Witcher in order to free up his time to play Supes full time again. What a colossal fck up if he ends up playing neither lol.
Having said that I think he is back as Superman, just as I think Gadot is staying as WW. For the next few movies at least anyway. Maybe they'll go hard reset on this universe after that if those movies don't perform.

Thought the Riddler played his part well, and I didn’t even recognise Colin Farrell as Penguin!

The Riddler was actually my least favourite part of the movie, thought he was OTT cringy in some scenes and I found him more laughably weird than terrifying which is presumably what I was meant to feel.
All the other actors were on point in the movie though including Battinson. Farrell was excellent too. I'd give the movie an 8/10 although I'm going to rewatch it very soon so that may change.

And yeh, just what in the hell were they doing let Cavil hang himself like that.
The man even quit on a role that people seem to like him in. It’s a madness. Which now makes him look stupid. People will say ‘Henry, sack yer agent’....
But the Agent is The Rocks Ex-Wife!

I think we just need to wait and see what unfolds Stringer as it's too easily to listen to all these different media reports. Gunn already dismissed the Hollywood Reporter as containing some half truths and some not truths at all.
I think Gadot is staying as WW, she already put a tweet out saying words to that effect. It's just Patty Jenkins who's definitely out of the picture now. And Cavill may still be in as Superman. If I had to put money on it I'd say that he will be DC's Superman for at least a couple more movies.
There would be such a huge backlash if they changed course yet again. Not to mention a huge lawsuit if he has signed up to play him again.

It's not on the same level as the first two Nolan Bat movies but I enjoyed it more than Dark Knight Rises.

Nolan’s don’t feel like a comic book film, it’s why they are great. You could replace Batman with just a run of mill vigilante and they’d work pretty well. The Batman wasn’t a bad effort, better than most of marvels output

I think Pattinson's Batman is my favourite live-action interpretation of the character. Closest to source material.

There was never an official announcement by Warner that Cavill was back as Superman but you'd have to assume that behind the scenes contracts were signed for Cavill to announce he was leaving the Witcher and that he is returning as Superman. And then being on talk shows to talk about how he's back as Superman.

Yeah it would be a serious embarrassment, especially as it appears he gave up his role on the very popular Witcher in order to free up his time to play Supes full time again. What a colossal fck up if he ends up playing neither lol.
Having said that I think he is back as Superman, just as I think Gadot is staying as WW. For the next few movies at least anyway. Maybe they'll go hard reset on this universe after that if those movies don't perform.
