Watch Ant Man & The Wasp this morning.

Enjoyed it, interesting setup to Avengers 4 with the mid-credits scene

Setup? More of a cop-out. It basically said don't expect him back/in the avengers movie until those few who know where he is actually come back by way of time manipulation through Dr Strange.

GOTG3 shelved for now.

Wonder what they’ll put out in their slot instead?

My guess black widow film

It is what's selling atm though, in pop culture.

Was the same with Black Panther and the black empowerment thing it had going in the build up.

Not that it's wrong or right but the sheep will lap it up.

She’s a shiyte character though, superhero wise, and played by a pretty shiyte actress.

Just illegally download or stream the movie. Not something you should waste your money on.

Finally caught up on the Marvel movies to come back on this thread . Watched Ant-Man and The Wasp last night which I enjoyed. That final end credit scene was something we caught in the trailers though. I don't mind a pointless end credit scene but at least give us something we haven't already seen.

Yeah after the first mid credit scene people left and the staff were in beginning to clear up a bit and one of the lads said to us 'wouldn't waste my time for the next bit if I were you'.

My mate wanted to stay anyway so we did, then just got up and left after it in a huff while the guy gave us that 'told you so' look

Wish someone had told us to not bother, they definitely smirked as we walked out with me going "10 f'ing minutes of credits for that shhhh!"

EW's report confirms that this is not a traditional origin story, beginning after Carol Danvers already has her powers, and has joined a Kree military team called Starforce. Taking place in the '90s, Samuel L. Jackson will play a younger Nick Fury, complete with both eyes and a desk job at S.H.I.E.L.D.

The report also confirms that Jude Law (as a Kree military commander) and Ben Mendelsohn (as Talos, the head of a Skrull invasion of Earth) will appear in the film. And, of course, Captain Marvel will return to Earth to find out about her past (presumably revealing the origin of those powers) and fighting off the shape-shifting Skrull threat.

Describing the character, Larson says: “She can’t help but be herself. She can be aggressive, and she can have a temper, and she can be a little invasive and in your face. She’s also quick to jump to things, which makes her amazing in battle because she’s the first one out there and doesn’t always wait for orders. But the [not] waiting for orders is, to some, a character flaw.”

Looks good I like that they're trying to avoid the typical origin story formula.

Excited to see Ronan back as well, I never thought the original GoG did him justice.

And rumours that Guy Ritchie is wanted to direct it. I'd be interested to see how that turns out

The character is so bland, I doubt anyone will ever be satisfied with any actor.

Shame, yesterday there was a whole lot of conflicting rumours flying around it so I hoped it wasn't true. Liked him as superman and thought he was good in MI:Fallout too.

Right. The problem with marvel movies is quite simply Stan Lee. That crusty old fracker, just has to make an appearance in all of them in some pointless jokey nonsense cameo.

Why? Your being paid enough. Enjoy your very wealthy hinteryears.

The movies, the whole comic book nonsense Is fundemetally flawed anyway. We all know who wins, we all know the token person (introduced in that same movie) will die..its no usual suspects. All it is is flashy visuals and as a predictable as s spurs trophy bottling..

I want Spider-Man Xv, where spidey dies at the end. To be replaced by a change of heart venom, for the next 18 films. Might actually be worth watching then.
