They don't need to, it's obvious.

Average person or Air Force person discovers powers in some sort of accident.

Joins teal of crime/evil fighters.

Suffers set backs initially, but overcomes them.

Will he/she/it beat bad guy, super villain despite being outmatched? Oh..Beats bad guy villain at the end against all odds.

No idea who captain marvel is, or what, but I bet that's the story line.

Didn't even get that from the trailer to be honest. It was a bit of a strange trailer although it's not meant to be a traditional origin story in the sense of starting off without powers but there will be some plot covering how she got her powers.

hope theyve got a big budget, theyll need it with those characters, the netflix budget wont cut it

They're definitely throwing money at this streaming service, there's a Star Wars show coming for it with a reported budget of around $100m.

6 to 8 episodes a season sounds like the perfect length too - the Netflix shows drag a bit with 13 episodes. Glad that Feige's involved rather than the TV showrunners

There's a couple of A's in the pic, maybe they're hinting at the title for the sequel? Can't be Avengers Assemble though, that's the UK title for the first one.

Yeah, not really a fan. I like sone of the ideas and characters, but the movies are boring and SO predictable it’s ridiculous.

The only good ones are watchmen- not predictable, dark. And GoG, which was highly entertaining. The rest are predictable tripe, aside batman (Nolan’s-decent enough), and deadpool was ok.
