Gutted for Rahul - one short of his 150. He also made 199 against England back home if I remember correctly. Also, Rashid that got him that day I believe. This one was a far better ball though.

Cookie was close too. I reckon he lost concentration watching Pant trying to batter Rashid the three previous balls. Great knock. Great series in general. I love the way India play cricket.

Rashid is costing over a run a ball now. His recall has been so poorly handled. Root clearly never wanted him in the team, given how sparingly he's been used. His bowling confidence must be at an all-time low. Now, just to add insult to injury, he's put in to bowl on a dead pitch and he's getting tonked to all corners.

Shocking man management.

IMO the game changed when Anderson came on. He's just bowling line and length and they couldn't dominate him the way they did Stokes and Rashid. The run rate came down and Rashid has benefitted.
