Stein kicking him out of CBC, not Celtic FC. Kelly invites him back in to CBC . Now was Kelly and Stein doing this outwith their roles at Celtic Football Club?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But you won’t pass judgment
How could someone either kick out or employ a person if they’re nothing to do with CBC, and when employed by Celtic?! What roles outwith Celtic would allow them to do that? And why would they have dual roles if there was no link?!
It’s a sordid, tawdry mess, and the sooner it’s dealt with the better. This isn’t about a club or allegiances, it’s about young boys being systematically abused.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tbf, stein kicked torbett out in his capacity of president of the boys club (or some other similar role). It was a voluntary role that he held for a number of years.
It's the kelly's ( and probably of few of the other families) that I have an issue with. If they knew about this and did nothing, the club should go after them for dereliction of duty. They deserve everything that's coming to them. Unfortunately time is passing and nature will take care of them.
As I've said before, some right creepy bastirts around the club at that time. Not just torbett.

My head is not in the sand at all. I find it strange that after all this time, given the anti Celtic feeling that runs deep in Scotland, that no one has taken Celtic FC to task over this. Im absolutely certain there are lawyers out there that would wish nothing more to see Celtic FC in the gutter. I will wait until the court case and see the facts presented before i pass judgement.

Hold on a second? 🤔🤔🤔
Nah sorry, this isn’t a joking matter, it must have been so horrible just wanting to play football and some creepy cvnt does that to u while saying if you tell anyone then your footballing dream is over then possibly u do tell someone and they tell u to keep quiet again, must have felt so helpless
Where does it stop with association or links. It’s like when smokers get lung cancer they blame the tobacco companies and not the retailer that sells them. Until someone proves Celtic FC and CBC were together in this then there’s nothing to say on it. I can’t for the life of me undstand if CFC were guilty of involvement in these crimes then why are the not in court?

So I take it you agree with the idea of a full enquiry to try and untangle this mess
Why not. From what i hear and read Celtic FC cannot be held responsible for the actions of others that had NO legal and binding contract to CBC. Once that has been established Celtic i would hope offer counselling and help to those that suffered at the hands of Torbett and co at CBC.
Let’s go back to when Torbett was booted out by Stein. Torbett was brought back by McGinn or Kelly i think so are those other clubs who took players from CBC now guilty by association? Or the amateur football clubs around the country that bought trophies from Torbett’s Trophy Centres to give out to their young players?
FFS. This is a serious issue. Had a look at Bubble's comments as he has an interest in this with his lad being in the game.
I get his points but ....that trophy centre/amateur clubs comment is worrying, delusional and not befitting of such a serious topic.
You should have a serious think before posting garbage like that Bubble.

I think you know the answer to these questions, and that concerns me that you'd air that kind of view publicly. I think you should leave it at that.
Im saying where does it stop. It seems that everything and anything that is associated with those deviants are in someway linked. Are Celtic guilty by association with CBC?
Because im pretty sure there legal contract between the two.

For years, the club and the fans have been happy to take the credit for players promoted from the boys club to the first team. The quality street gang-remember them?!
Now the 5hit has hit the fan we’re talking about them being a separate entity-which they may well be now. But it doesn’t wash with me (and yes, I get the irony saying that being a Celtic fan) and certainly doesn’t sit comfortably with me.
Which quality St gang players came out of CBC?
What about the other football clubs that took players from CBC?
The training facilities and game pitches was the agreement for the pick of the bunch.

Yip-fair enough-the boys club only started in ‘66. I absolutely concede that.
But my point stands about how we’ve always-as a club and a support-highlighted and been proud of players that have moved from the boys club to the first team.
POV just seen this.
Celtic must do what Celtic must do.
But Celtic and all other clubs having nothing to learn from Man City.
Nothing whatsoever.
Their owner who uses the club as a plaything is Depute PM of UAE.
His country still executes people accused of homsoexuality.
They lock up women who ask for equality.
This cash is less than a 10p coin down the back of the couch for him.
And he's had the gall to recently order the players to wear the
trendy rainbow laces in support of LGBT rights.
