I’d suggest that’s probably speculation-I doubt anyone truly knows what the conversations have been. As Lawwell is supposed to be on holiday just now as well, I wouldn’t take much notice of anyone suggesting they’re ITK.

You can bid and buy a player I think at pretty much anytime-you just can’t register them out with the transfer window.

This is exactly what happened with McGinn, we told hibs to keep us informed after we lowballed them with 2 bids then we lost out and ended up matching the bid at the last minute when it was too late.

If people can see the same thing happening here again then it’s worse than I thought.

The McGinn "Saga" was a red neck, we could have had him sealed up early doors but oh no lets save a few hundred thou rather than get a young hungry player in, not seen enough of Murphy to make an informed call on him but the twice I did he looked more than decent

As for Lustig, not a first choice for me any longer but a decent back up in a couple of positions and a good attitude but not a starter if we're looking to move forward.

But how come you never see anybody buying played in March or April for instance. I've not seen any club buy a player or submit a formal offer at this stage (although fan thinks Aberdeen have)

The CEO in charge of our transfer dealings on holiday when it’s most critical for us to get work done.

Like I said, embarrassing.

Nothing to see here though, it’ll be fine in a few weeks....
