boruc or forster mags?
boruc had a clanger in him but his kicking was better and we played with sutton and hartson up top.
tricky one.
Boruc was the first celtic keeper i remember being dazzled by long term, marshall had a good couple of games when he came in but then went off, boruc was the best i had season, till forster.
Gordon gets a lot of stick as well btw but he couldnt pass a ball, shame he was being asked to do something he was so bad at, while the CB's consistently put him under pressure.
say what u will about him but he's a world class shot stopper

We probs need what 5 players?
A RB 100%
A LB 100%
2 centre backs
Turnbull (we need to sign him)
IF we can get quality there that would be a decent window. Some might say a striker also but a fully fit Griffiths and hopefully Bayo should be enough there with Edouard the main man. Shved to also come in and Dembele will be more involved I'd imagine next season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
5 players
spending 6 million
I expect Henderson, Johnston and Dembele to be used a lot more next season.
Henderson and Dembele excite me but Johnston is all a bit meh, i just can't take to him
For me i want a right back, left back, centre half, quality midfielder and a forward in.
I don't think it's too much to ask that between £10-£15 million is spent on that.
i'm alright with hayes as a backup left back if it creates funds elsewhere to be honest.
RB, CB, playmaker.
wish i knew more about Bayo so we can make a judgement on a CF.
know what you mean about Johnstone, some games i have thought he looks good, others i think he looks like he won a raffle
See between loan deals and and contracts expiring, we've lost about 8 or 9 players from the first team squad this summer.

He was awful in the cup final as well i thought, decision making was terrible.
He does have bags of talent though, it's frustrating as fluck.
who is defo gone btw?
izzy, de vries, allan, boyata, gamboa
possibly lustig
then the loans, benkovic, weah and burke?
Johnston will do for the games against bottom 6 at home. When the going gets tough though in a hostile environment he looks like he doesn't want the ball. Henderson looks a cracker, if we sign Turnbull though it would probs set him back.
Ntcham is 100% for the off and the funds from that sale will be what is used for our transfers Nevermind all the millions in the bank our any sort of set transfer budget.
mistake to sell ntcham imo but i think it will happen.
he's technically a very gifted player, so of course we will bin that in favour of scott browns "dig"
whilst I'm very much in the frustrated camp I do think losing Congerton has probably caused a delay in signings, in saying that the fact Lawwell is on holiday at a critical time of the year is a complete shambles
we need more than 5 players in the summer we need about 8/9, 4/5 starters and 4/5 back up because a lot of our squad players are either going back to their parent clubs, leaving or are rubbish
he's technically a very gifted player, so of course we will bin that in favour of scott browns "dig"
A man after my own heart.
see with regards to Ntcham, he's a man down 8 games out of 10
we've got enough options in there
I'm just worried if he goes Eddy will spit the dummy especially with Boyata away and Kouassi apparently leaving on loan
i'd start the season with ntcham and see if lennon changing the style makes any difference, if not he could be gone by the end of the window
he has something mate, i find it hard to judge players based on last seasons boring schite.
except when it suits me of course
Kouassi another disastrous signing for the money spent
Mulumbu still got a year to go also
Ntcham's massively overrated.
Which has been my point about him all along.

Nah, 4 out of 5 at the most
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hopefully Christie stays fit next season, been out the team a lot with various injuries. Lennon likes him too.
Kouassi is another that i don't get tbh
he's tossed in here and there and expected to do well. Mental that you can spend 3 million on someone and not give them a run in the team.
u have to wonder why rodgers rates congerton.
who did he bring in that was any use?
was edouard one of his? if so thats probably about it

I find it impossible to choose between boruc and forster mate.
However I'm sure we can largely agree that if big artur was a prodisint, it would be Lurch every time
saves some of them made were unreal.
i mind a double save forster made against hearts, just outstanding man.
tell u what was so good about them both, 50/50 they would save a penalty.
gordon only saved one that i can remember and it was against hapoel.
he just put a knee down and that was it.
I've never known such a good player as people claim Ntcham is hooked at half time
must've been taken off at least 5 or 6 times at half time coz he was dung
tbf Edouard is a terrific signing man, surely there's more out there like that!
