I always thought Boruc was a much better keeper. Forster never really impressed me, made some good saves but looks so gormless i always assumed a fack up was around the corner.

Neither would make the top 5 Gers Keepers in my lifetime.

i think its that he is technically so good and i know that replacing him means mulumbu or something.

I enjoyed that one.

a cm should be able to pass the ball, to start attacks.

we have brown passing it backward and mcgregor starting to follow suit by never leaving the half way line.

see if we ever hope to be anything in europe we need more technically gifted players, not "dig"

to pass the ball forward you need movement in front of you

lets not pretend that will matter to brown mate

our movement came from mcgregor and he's never in the final third anymore.

On your serious point though...Goram is the best by a mile. An absolutely world-class keeper. I'd say that boruc and Forster are at least as good as any of the others.

Certainly on a par with Klos and Woods and probably better than mcgregor and any others. The other top class one was niemi who was superb but probably didn't hit his peak until he went to England.

I wouldn't say Boruc or Forster come close to McGregor or Klos personally.

Ronald Waterreus was better than those 2 as well

Niemi was a bad miss, became a fantastic keeper in England.

Could be argued even Hearts have had better keepers than Celtic. I would rather have Niemi and prime Gordon over Boruc and Forster imo.

Maybe it's a childhood thing that's stuck but i associate Celtic with generally having a diddy in goals but the keepers i remember most were Kerr and Douglas

we did have bad ones but boruc and forster were outstanding for us
