New exclusive detail: Djed Spence on loan to Genoa from #THFC. 🏴
All parties are working to get the deal done and sealed now as Bayern have not sent bid yet.

That's unexpected but ok
Hopefully it is sorted today and we can have a double unveiling of Dragusin and Werner before the Utd game. If we get both deals done by 10th January that’s good - and decisive - business from us, two areas of need addressed pretty astutely and early on in the window. I think we can read a bit then and consider any other business (Jota?) as a bonus.
We are six points off top with 18 games to go. If we can muddle through this period of having players away without too much damage (would take a draw at Utd) then I think we can have a really strong final 15 games with our fixtures and fully fit/available squad.

There’s a talented player in there who has lost his way. Don’t feel like he had a chance at Spurs from day 1 with the way Conte publicly threw him under the bus the fecking fraud. But, living & playing abroad for a while could be the making of the lad, it’s a great opportunity and I’m not writing him off just yet.
Have we signed anyone yet?
Hope Timo doesn’t pull his hamstring walking into the stadium.

Dragusin and Werner both very close, just waiting for a “here we go” from MoreSpurs.
So many things I need to buy and I get given a £50 Waterstones voucher

Anyone would think Levy was a cvnt

Bit hard to understand how Spence went from starting 7 games in a row to (immediately thereafter) having his loan agreement ended.

farke said it was a professionalism issue
and now he's training with the U21s despite Ange saying in the summer he didn't agree with banishing players and wanted everyone to feel like part of the group even if they didn't have a future
so yeah he's clearly been put on the naughty step
Nothing to do with Spence other than being a disciple issue, but who was it who was suddenly sold after it was rumoured he'd been rude about someone's (Daniel's?) daughter?

good early business once these over the line hopefully they can both do a job
maybe then just look at any other opportunities especially in midfield with absences
You do wonder how ambitious we could be this January. I mean if there's any chance of challenging for the title, and we're only 6 points off, we should do everything we can and have that as our target, as opposed to just seeing top 4 as the target and doing enough for us to get by there.
Might not get a better chance, next season we'll have Europe.
business of asking for something then when it looks like it's been given, complaining that that's not enough doesn't sit well with my personally.
i understand that we need centre backs, but ENIC's spent £300m on this team in the last 3 years and people are still complaining. we have better players than every single football team in the country except for about 3 ffs*.

This has been my thought also. If we can get a point at OT and beat Brentford at home, then hopefully from Feb onwards we will have full squad availability to have a serious run at those last 16 games starting no more than 8 points off top, with no distractions (assuming as I expect City KO is from the Cup). If we can replicate the form of our first ten games into our last 16… seriously who knows. Liverpool, City, Arsenal all involved in CL and with cup comps, plenty of scope for slip ups, injuries etc.
I think the title is more wide open than people realise.
In true Spurs fashion, Toney will be available for Brentford by the time we play them, making a winnable game that much more difficult. It’ll be his second game back after a nice home tie against Forest to get his eye in.
we can finish in that 80-85 point range if we manage to stay healthy. whether or not we'll be in the mix just depends if City and Liverpool return to their 90 point form from previous seasons.

"Spurs are definitely going to win the league" - Ace, Jan 2024.
If it was possible to identify how much ENIC would have to spent on players this window to win the title, how much would people you sanction spending? what's the maximum you would go to to secure that 100% of winning the title? at what point would you say, no fair enough, I can understand them not spending that?
same question for a 50% chance of winning.
same question for a 25% chance of winning.
