Spursweb saying Bayern have had a bid accepted for dragusin....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep but he's accepted terms with us and apparently his agents are now in England. So seems like we're still in pole position but we'll see.

That's just pure edging right there

If you believe everything that has been put on Twitter so far regarding Dragusin, the player ‘only’ wants PL football and we have agreed a contract with him. Our offer has been accepted by Genoa. So, just because Bayern have also had an offer accepted it doesn’t mean this is a dead duck. Yes they are a bigger club, but he’s gonna be further down the pecking order in a poorer league. I think there’s every chance he still signs for us but either way this have evolved into a saga and I’d rather it was just done with one way or the other.

Told you I was right to be furious. But with the noise from their side. Just been absolute chaos for a player that's agreed. Hope we sign a CB that Ange wants very soon

Henderson says yes to Bayern. They didn't ask him anything.

Classic Levy smokescreen, knows he’s facked the Dragusin deal so gets this out there tonight as a distraction, like when he sacked Jose six days before a cup final to take the heat off the ESL backlash.

Tosin's got 6 months left, right? 25m should be enough

Who's messing around here, Levy or Bayern?

For me its Bayern. Why the fack act interested in Dier, and then go and take our main CB target INSTEAD of Dier, double facking us.

I don't see how Bayern are messing around, they're trying to buy a player they want. I don't see how Levy (not directly involved now) is to blame either. This is Genoa trying to get the best price and the player getting the best move

Still infuriating tho tbf

None of this is ours or Levy’s fault, we could have agreed a deal with Genoa a minute past midnight on the 1st of Jan and Bayern could still have come in for him.

Like I said before, the fact it’s Jan 9th means we can give the lad 24 hours to decide and then move on to plan B.

As long as we bring in another CB Ange is happy with then lid window then I don’t see a problem. Todibo, Dragusin, Bade, Tosin, Kelly - we just move to the next target and we have time.

Welcome Timo

There's Caceres and Morato, too. Plenty of good ones out there

the catharsis of a player picking us over Bayern after last summer would be unreal

I'm just saying, some people would find a way of blaming Levy for their socks being too tight and leaving those weird rings on their ankles

can't believe levy had us sign Werner on Sunday an flown him out on Monday, knowing that we'll need to announce his signing on Tuesday to make up for Dragusin potentially not joining

Levy

Thought Werner was a signing you’re not particularly bothered about?

I’ve never really been a Levy hater. But it once again just seems like one step forward two steps back. Happy with the Werner signing, but the length of which the Dragusin transfers dragged out just seems like such a let down once again.

Let’s see who our ‘back up’ signing is then. Would only imagine it would be someone Ange doesn’t rate as much as Drag.

Yeah of course it's annoying. But not everything has one simple answer that you can just be angry about all the time

That's why the big horrible man making all the decisions has us still in for him despite them messing around. Right?

I think you need to look around at the rest of the league, Sheffield United are the only other club who have made a signing. Nobody has signed a player permanently yet. You keep saying we've dragged our feet, that we've dawdled, when the reality is we got a permanent deal for a player agreed faster than anyone else in the league, and, then one of the biggest clubs in the world came and matched the offer

Nothing to disagree with here, and I’m not questioning our intent in the window this month. Nothing really to add on what I’ve already said. My comments the last week have been nothing but praise for what we are currently doing. But yes, this particular hurdle has irked me. Let’s see what happens.

That is typically caused by fluid retention which is a symptom of heart failure which itself is primarily caused by long term high blood pressure, so I think it would actually be reasonable for someone to blame Levy for that.
