Yes. Player seems happy to go. Anything over £10m would be a good deal IMO. £12m with add-ons to £15m. Let's go!!!

LB - who can maybe fill in CB too. keep Phillips around this season too for cover and cup opportunities.

AM - with GLC leaving. maybe also one who can play out wide too improving the ability on the ball further up the pitch. dont think a DM on the cards with Bergvall and Gray signing, with lots of other numbers still at the club (Bentancur, Bissouma, Sarr, Skipp). think an out and out DM isnt want Ange wants and not sure who is attainable for us.

ST - thought a top winger was more important but we have a fair few wingers, cant see any of them leaving either, Son hasnt been great through the middle. Richarlison scarcely available and not prolific.

The whole market seems a little stale at the moment - no one making major moves in the Prem outside of the PSR clubs.

On a side note, Everton’s 2 pre season friendlies have seen them clinch a late 3-3 draw with Sligo and lose 2-1 to Salford with DCL missing a sitter. Will this be the year the unflushable tuuuurd goes? I’m bored of their Villa/Sunderland act

Davies lack of pace makes him unsuitable for our preferred high line.

We still needed him last year though and he was excellent in our away win at Forest.

We will find it difficult to buy a 4th choice CB and might find it easier to try Phillips/Dorrington instead and wait a year for the hopeful emergence of Vuskovic

oh yeah cause levy has been know for that in the window

we struggle to get rid of players sometimes you have to take a cut

realistically we aint getting much more than that for Royal anyway

we didnt seem to attract any of 3 free CBs this summer, and we would have no doubt tried, so perhaps being VDVs understudy isnt going to be easy to fill.

Youth or old head is probably the way and we already have both. May be its one we keep until next summer.

I think Levy is happy to take a cut (sell for less than we bought) but not happy to take a loss on Player Trading, as the latter represents a loss on our accounts. Sometimes its worth keeping a plyer, especially if they are loaned out and you get a fee, because in a years time their are worth less on the books and therefore a lesser offer can represent no loss or even a profit. I think Gil is an example of this.
