I think a lot of that is overblown. Obviously the football isn't perfect, but if we actually execute the attacking side we'll be grand.

I mean of course you're not gonna win every game with 70% possession and lots of shots. But I reckon you'll win more than if you had 30% possession and 2 shots. Just need to turn shots into goals more often

Arsenal were just lucky yesterday that Watkins missed 2 absolute sitters.

City conceded to Ipswich.

Let's see how matters progress this season. Last year, our first 10 games conceded 9 goals, so we can do it. Resisted the aerial EFC bombardment yesterday. Conceded few real chances to them.

Work in progress so let's see if we improve rather than assuming it's not changed from the back end of last season.

They went long a lot - Goal kicks, free kicks, passes out from the back. They had a flurry of corners too.

Still short of a GK, midfielder & LCB/LWB, some of the forwards are also upgradable ideally

clearly happy giving austin a chance to show what he can do if he is needed and forster another season

other bits will be picked up in next few windows now i imagine

need to get reguilon and glc off the books as priority before we can think about doing anything else,

What they are good at is selling players....

Gallagher, a youth product bring in £30m this season.

For PSR/FFP purposes transfers are amortised over 5 years so spending 150 on p[layers equates to 30m a season for 5 seasons.

With various sales they have made £125m or so this summer, all from academy products so thats £125m in revenue. Where they have spent £220m that's on teh books as £44m a year for 5 years. So taking this year in isolation they've increased revenue by £125m and increased spending by £44m....so in net terms they're about £80m better off.

The difficulty comes when next year that £44m additional spending is still there but the £125m revenue isn't. They will have to sell again to balance things up...who can they sell.

Alternatively, if they are successful and make UCL for example, then they boost their revenues by £60-100m and the need to sell is not so great.

I'd agree but he's not the heir to Salah. He's probably passed his peak and injury prone.
