I can't remember how many games they played, but Emerson and Davies did do very well when they played as a cb pair.

Tbf they did ok but having at least one CB in Drag, is better than playing 2 full backs at CB.

Every oppo team must have been licking their lips.

If Ange decided to rest the 1st choice back four it would look something like this

Gray Drag Davies Spence.

Well aside from the 500 you’ve just listed, I can’t think of any more. 😂

Just checked our prem fixtures v the dates of Ropey league matches.

We play 5 times away (Brighton & Utd game weeks 1,2 with trips to Brentford, Palace & Southampton) and 3 times at home (Ipswich, Leicester and Fulham) after Thur nights.

Could be worse but would nice to play 4 home and 4 away at least.

Chuck in internationals and the League cup games the season will soon be full swing come Sept.

We find out this Friday who we play in Europe. Same day as deadline day.

He’s just guessing. He knows Spurs operate quietly and doesn’t have a feckin clue so he’s hedging his bets. I’d be surprised if we’re done, purely as we’re so short in certain areas for a season with many more games than last year. If we get injuries to key players and Ben Davies ends up coming in, I’ll have no sympathy with the club. Personally I think we’ve flogged too much deadwood. We’ve got a smaller squad than last year when we had far less football to play. We’re gonna need some serious luck with injuries.
