who the actual fack is Sorloth
In the presser after the game, "Mourinho – who did not rule out a move for the striker Alexander Sørloth, on loan at Trabzonspor from Crystal Palace..."
Sorloth seriously
this club man
If you believe the internet, we are competing with RB Leipzig. That's one competition that I just don't want to win.
I really am facked off with yesterday. On paper we have a decent team that should beat Everton every day of the week, and then they give us that performance?
GLC, NDombele and Sess - our three big signings from last year - still not in the team?
All my pre-season optimism gone in 90 minutes This club indeed.

Isn't he the guy from Goonies?
the midfield is waaaaank i mean what is the harm in just throwing Ndombele in for a run of games though. I mean everyone is lazy like we saw yesterday, what can we lose our midfield is atrocious.
everton impoved their midfield with a great dm, a b2b mid and a real statement signing and player maker.
we are a mess.
if we sign a CB it has to be one that is going to start for us, has leadership qualities and is dominant in the air. Our CBs, Toby especially, pathetic in the air.
Aston Villa have managed to sign two strikers this window, both of which are competent (I really rate Watkins) and both of which cost upwards of 20m it seems.
We are only slightly strengthening our squad and probably about to be left behind. I’m really negative about it all currently
not too much to be positive about is there tbf
other than we are still in the Europa league, league and fa cups
We should just sign Bale - get ourselves relegated and win an FA cup. It would keep most the idiots on the main board happy <shrugs>
top half and the europa league please Jose u caaant
Not sure we're going to get one of Jose's better second seasons. Easier to do it at big clubs clubs that are willing to spend a bit but the circumstances are different at Spurs.
That pathetic performance yesterday and the lack of recent business in the window has made me hate Spurs again after I was slightly warming to them since the restart.
i know when he joined this wouldnt be an ordinary Jose club spell. Lost his first opening day game ever. all pointing towards his first club not winning anything

I'm not going to give up complete hope yet. I imagine he'll be looking at the Europa League to win something this season, and with it get CL football, in which case PL may be taking somewhat of a backseat.
Jose got it so wrong tactically yesterday and every change made us worse bar Ndombele

Swiss ramble is so excellent
We need a proper playmaker, we cant just hope Ndombele or GLC come good, need one this window, I'd take Grealish but Levy would never sanction that
PSG manager could be available soon
Would you take him over Jose?
Poch to then join PSG?
Yeah Tuchel wouldn’t be the right appointment I don’t think
I'd imagine he'd do better than Mourinho, but I get the sense he's a manager who needs a bit of dough to spend as well
It was always a strange, spur of the moment decision for Levy to hire Mourinho

EVERY manager needs a bit of dough. Spurs don't give it. We found a manager in Pochettino to work under constraints but then drove him to insanity as well.
