Nothing came of it though right? Aside from Pep being nice it could just be his agent stirring stuff up

I mean, if he wants homegrown maybe he'll look at JWP instead who's probably been better lately and has the set pieces

Ornstein is legit, he would have gotten that from city if he wrote it.

It's really not hard to imagine pep rating winks - Poch did and they're very similar in the way they think about the game

Oh yes I'm not saying Pep doesn't (or didn't at least) rate him. I'm just not confident he'd be on their shopping list this summer.

Great if he is, we could get Sabitzer with that money

Gotta love a bit of Hotspur Related.

Funny thinking Spurs could've bought Tierney ahead of Arsenal and played him on the left of a back three.

Bit short, I suppose

Davies is as good if not better as a LCB in a back 3 tbh, Tierney is just a very good proper left back, would have been an alternative to Reguilon.

Hojbjerg had a great game by the looks of things. An assist and a well taken goal.

#thfc are willing to let Harry Winks leave this summer. Atlético Madrid are leading the chase to sign the midfielder but face competition from Everton, Sevilla and Valencia. [Daily Mirror]

Yeah I saw that. The article I read said we're asking around 15m

I read £15m - £25m. No chance he goes for the lower part of that IMO

Strange fit for a defensive team. Then Trippier hasn't been a disaster for them

You have to question Atletico's recruitment when they are going after our rejects.

Yeah agreed. Much as I don't think he's good enough for what we need, he should do well in Spain. I'd be happy if we got 20m

Aren’t they top of the league?

I'm really not one for the old "Premier League is higher quality" argument, but at the very least, Trippier's success in Spain shows it's much more accommodating for slow players
