The EU has decimated our industrial base and shipped them to Eastern Europe.
Our govt can't provide help to British Steel because of EU regulation.
Our fishermen can't fish on OUR waters because of EU regulation.
Our light bulbs, vacuum cleaners, working time directive etc. are all being controlled by the EU.
And for these regulations, we have to pay a net of more than £200m every week.
Money that could be spent on our forces or NHS.
-------
Can you actually back all this up?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
British steel has been all over the news in recent weeks.
Common Fisheries policy means we are not in control of our waters.
Many companies have been closed down and given EU grants to relocate to Eastern Europe. Try google for details.
-------
Google (guardian, mail, and BBC as well) isn't easily available to me here.
The reason why I have asked is a few of these have been debunked. So I wanted to get some information which I can compare with what I already know.
--------
Our industrial base is being decimated by Brexit and before that our own government.
British Steel issues are due to Brexit. Otherwise this would not be an issue in the first place.
Ight bulbs anD vacuum cleaners need to be at a common standard in a common market.
The fisheries industry has issues with over fishing. Even the French fishermen have to stop to allow the fish they catch to replenish. Especially when it is the breeding season. Secondly, our government has sold off fishining quotas to other countries so their fishermen can use our seas. Its convient to blame the EU.
On Javid, he is a just like the rest of them. No better than Hunt. Boris, Raab and Gove are the worse of the lot though. Take the issue with Islamaphobia in the tory party. He said not too long ago there isn't and gave himself as an example (this from someone who said he doesn't practise any religion). Then, when running for this he brought it up.

The UK was at the forefront of setting these regulations as the second largest member state.
Conformity and trade liberalisation/harmonisation is predominantly led by industry and will not change post Brexit. It's why businesses have not needed to market/produce products for 27 separate markets.
I'm sure you will appreciate the cost reductions in only having to produce goods for one market instead of 27 individual ones.

Sorry Genius, cannot agree, Brown should not have become PM either without a vote from the electorial at large. If the country are going to change Prime Ministers, it is essential for democracty that all of us get a vote. As it stands it is the sort of stuff banana republics do, just put in a leader without any kind of democratic vote. They seriously need to change the rules, where if the current PM stands down, then whoever replaces him/her should immediately call a General Election to get a mandate.
I love the way the Tories keep bringing up how Johnson won two Mayor of London elections, that was like nearly 10 years ago, and a lot has changed, and the second time he barely scrapped past Ken Livingstone, who was way past his sell buy date. He was an awful mayor anyway, he wasted so much money on bridges that never opened, buses that never ran, an Olympic Stadium that is still costing the taxpayers millions and other madcap schemes that never got off the ground. He was totally and utterly useless as Mayor of London contrary to the nonsense currently being peddled by the Tory media.

Yes but also one side of the argument is only ever presented by either side. For example the vast majority of people of I know (both sexes) think that the burqa oppresses women and say fair play to those in the public eye who call it out.
I haven't heard much from that side of the argument recently.

It was a central plank of the Leave Campaign, the bus was wheeled out without fail every single day. Now if you are not going to believe or take any notice of that, then why should the vote of three years ago be taken seriously, when it is obvious that there is no plan for delivery, and never has been. The whole Brexit shambles was just to please the extreme right wing of the Tory Party, and three years on, it is still that internal fight in the Tory Party that is at the centre of everything.

According to Dominic Cummings (VL campaign director) their polling data, (the largest ever in the UK) suggested it was the determining factor which swung the vote.
The public’s impassioned affection for the NHS, and the pledge/possibility of additional funding was certainty persuasive. Albeit completely untrue.
