Broad is the weirdest bowler. He can be absolutely dire for huge long stretches of time, but no-one, no-one in world cricket bowls spells like he does. When he gets it right he's utterly unplayable.

Smith is a problem though, we don't have a plan to get him out other than hoping he misjudges one eventually.

Got to bear in mind our batting is sheite too though, so we could easily still end up with a first-innings deficit.

Also to be fair. You've said need a wicket far too often. Other than the 64 added by Head and Smith. Their next best partnership has been 18 . There's only been one partnership that had us a bit on the back foot.

But keep it coming as its delivering wickets!

Exactly - they're 8 down in a session and a half

I don't think you can reasonably say we've been desperate for a wicket at any point so far today

I'll stop for now as perhaps Amanda has a point.

However if this current partnership becomes massive, reaches 20+ runs, I may have to re-engage.

Say what you like about the guy, he's just a facking phenomenal batsman. We need to figure out a way to get the guy out sometime
