Just to clarify, China has expelled all foreign journalists and it's widely accepted in China that the figures they have reported are 100% fake. To suggest Italy has more cases and deaths when one has a fraction of the pop, and Italy's population had prior notice...it's impossible basically.

China kept the seriousness of the situation secret for 2 weeks, noting how close people are when they travel and even eat in China.

China is now claiming they, with the power of the people, defeated covid BUT foreign traveller's bought it back. If you're a foreigner in China right now expect extreme racism, being barred from establishments and even violence. China has suggested Americans bought the second wave....

The virus hasn't left China and infections still happening on a daily basis. Things are never what they seem when it comes to China, and all this info is from people in China.

China is of the opinion 'we have beat it and our economy hasn't been destroyed but look at the foreign countries'
China cannot afford an economic downturn. It's that simple.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone's doing exactly what the Chinese did and fudging their numbers.

The Yanks, the UK, the Italians, the French.......everybody.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But the thing with China is no one in China believes the figures, and noting how close people live (families all together- several generations) and they all eat together, China a) still has the virus and it never left and b) their numbers are exaggerated way more than other nations.

China is mocking the countries that have had their economies collapse, whilst stating the only reason it's returned to China is foreigners.

What is also more insane is the propoganda was so strong, many students paid to return home believing they are only safe in China, and we're promised 5 * facilities.
When they returned they were/ are quarantined in awful conditions. Oh and all foreign reporters have been expelled 😅

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please stop talking about this. You clearly know next to nothing and it's embarrassing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I'm only quoting people that live in China and are married to Chinese women 😅😅😅

ADV China, YouTube it. Educate yourself straight from the source 😉

Keep digging of you want. Continue looking like a fool fantasising about fake news while you parrot your own.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Your narrative regarding China stems from an elderly Chinese person. I've even shown you a link of two guys who usually reside in China, and are married to Chinese women. Both speak fluent Chinese and one is even married to a Dr. Everything you have suggested is everything the CCP are preaching. It's nonsense.

The Dr's have a quota for cases. Once they reach them they must record them as something else. The economy cannot suffer so everyone has been told it's fine to return to work. You now have factories running with no output or workers, simply to use electricity, as that's how the CCP measures whether they are reaching their output targets. Seems bat sh*t crazy....not if you understand China.

It's actually crazy that people are suggesting China is a safe haven right now when it's the most dangerous place to be. I'd rather be in Italy and that's from someone who has loved their, eye opening, time in China and never been to Italy.

Projection in USA is for 1,000 - 2,000 deaths a day!

What the heck. Surely the US must be 5-10 times the population of other western nations with that projection????

posted on 31/3/20

360 million in the US.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

5 x population yet looking at 8-10 times death rate of U.K. and many other European nations. WTF. That guy with trump calling for thoughts and prayers!

posted on 31/3/20

All those numbers are pointless and pure conjecture.

posted on 31/3/20

thus far despite lots of testing the US death rate is amongst the lowest, maybe that is becaue of so much testing compared to some only testing hospital cases.

My favourite is the car park marked up in Nevada. So homeless keep social distance.

Hope that’s a Twitter myth. Not real.

Or it's possible that the US is not as further on as other countries. Time will tell.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They are at least two weeks behind the U.K., who are two weeks behind Italy.

So the US will be open for Easter.

I would say the USA isn't behind other countries at this point, it is doing loads of tests which other countries are not and has strict lock downs in place in affected areas.

As a percentage what are the testing rates fella. Are they by choice or via Drs order through insurance and what are the Co-Pays. FoC for those on Medicare/Medicaid etc?

The IK is on a ‘lockdown’ top to bottom. Are all US state?

Some of these lockdowns are not as ‘ lockdown’ as people think.

I’m sure the ultimate test will be the US open for business

Think that is just news station talk. The virus is everywhere, no nation took action quick enough, the virus is spreading/being detected depending on testing.

Given it can incubate for a few weeks we will not see solid analysis until a month after all the lockdown procedures were put in effect. If numbers and cases are not improving by then its a bigger issue than anyone realised.

Sure they are. Like the U.K. was behind Italy regards initial infections/deaths.

We have drive up testing areas in the tri-state but not sure how it works, i think they check for a temperature first before just giving the test. Obviously all hospital cases are tested as well. As far as i understand, any charges will be dropped for those without healthcare even if billed initially. But no idea ultimately, myself and the missus are fully covered through her job so doesn't effect us.

I think the UK is slightly stricter with its public lockdown regarding distancing and folks being out and about but the tri-state is much stricter regarding non essential workers. Getting messages today that state parks and beaches where we could walk are now closing down and i think by the end of the week they will all be shut. In PA you can't drive county to county unless you have good reason and tri-state residents are strongly advised not to leave the region now but not sure how that is being enforced.

State by state is looking like being the big issue here, some states still don't seem to be doing much, reacting rather than preempting.

Huge issue has also been China flooding the market with testing kits that have a successful detection rate of 30%. It's caused mayhem is Spain and the governmen is returning large numbers.

Noting the integrity of WHO, and it's chief, have been shot to pieces we will have no idea how bad this situation is until we have a copious amount of reliable test on the market.

So about two weeks behind the U.K. lockdown. Great to hear that those without good insurance are going to get tests/treated at the same rate and standard as those with good insurance.

It’s a bigger place, but a lockdown needs to happen.

You are weird, really weird.

Assuming that my narrative stems from an elderly Chinese person just highlights yet another fallacy you are peddling.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're right Dave the communist Chinese party have no record of manipulation 😅 or maybe Dave you are the weird one just accepting everything the CCP and WHO are circulating. It's flawed when you apply even the most basic facts and common sense.

Ive shown you sources from the country and your reply is I'm talking nonsense but youve backed that up with no facts or sources.
If youve been to China you would understand their culture and class system, and why the rich have no problem with the poor dying. As long as the economy doesn't suffer.

If you are championing them as a success story you are in for a big, big shock. Ive just echoed what most have said in this thread regarding China's body count, just providing more details from people that actually live in China.
