As a percentage what are the testing rates fella. Are they by choice or via Drs order through insurance and what are the Co-Pays. FoC for those on Medicare/Medicaid etc?

The IK is on a ‘lockdown’ top to bottom. Are all US state?

Some of these lockdowns are not as ‘ lockdown’ as people think.

We have drive up testing areas in the tri-state but not sure how it works, i think they check for a temperature first before just giving the test. Obviously all hospital cases are tested as well. As far as i understand, any charges will be dropped for those without healthcare even if billed initially. But no idea ultimately, myself and the missus are fully covered through her job so doesn't effect us.

I think the UK is slightly stricter with its public lockdown regarding distancing and folks being out and about but the tri-state is much stricter regarding non essential workers. Getting messages today that state parks and beaches where we could walk are now closing down and i think by the end of the week they will all be shut. In PA you can't drive county to county unless you have good reason and tri-state residents are strongly advised not to leave the region now but not sure how that is being enforced.

State by state is looking like being the big issue here, some states still don't seem to be doing much, reacting rather than preempting.

So about two weeks behind the U.K. lockdown. Great to hear that those without good insurance are going to get tests/treated at the same rate and standard as those with good insurance.

It’s a bigger place, but a lockdown needs to happen.

The PA one is wrong as we live 15 miles from the state line and you can't move from county to county without good reason at this point.

We have carried out 1.1 million tests apparently, so 1 in 6 of those tested is positive

Yeah, that's promising but I'm still wary about it. Maybe in combination with the antibiotics and zinc it is better than just alone, but need to be careful.

There's a similar family of viruses to Corona that are found in Oz and SE Asia. One called Hendra virus had a 100% mortality. The drug was given to four suspected infected humans and the drug nearly killed them. Turns out there was no evidence they even had caught the virus.

So, knowing that it can have some adverse effects, I am cautious.
