Anyways.

We’re going up to see my parents. Haven’t seen them for nearly two months. They don’t know how to use FaceTime.

Drive up. Enter side gate to back garden. Picnic tea with social distancing for an hour or so. Wave goodbye. Drive home.

You definitely sure facetime is a non starter. What about clearing desktop of all other icons? WhatsApp installed on a mobile, you could ring them and they could answer.

Would be great if you could get something working, but appreciate it might not be possible. I know it's been a huge thing for our family to stay connected.

Yeah I’ll be spending half an hour going through it with him. He doesn’t even know his Sky and Solway Hub passwords either but as we pay their bills I’ll get him to call them and give me permission to speak to them and get it sorted.

half the deaths occur in homes probably because once it's in, its spreads like wildfire, particularly in homes where people have Alzheimer's because they can't be contained In their rooms.

I suppose if you lift the lockdown, there will be further social interaction, thus improving the chances of workers carrying it into the homes they work in.

you see these idiots in America going "we aren't stupid" while standing outside a state building brandishing an ak-47. We as a species, cannot be trusted to abide by simple rules, some of us will, but a lot of them won't which is why you still see idiots heading to the park for a day out despite what they have been told.

Also, my mum is nearly 60, she works in a care home and is picking up extra shifts to help, know what protection she has? F... all. absolutely none.

maybe i'm being more selfish by wanting my mum to get through this, and I'm really sorry if that gets in the way of somebody needing a haircut or wanting schools back on cause they can't be f....ed with their kids anymore.

See when hospitals and care homes are equipped with the means of protecting their staff properly, then they can start to talk about easing measures.
