That makes a grim reading specially we had the MOST shot in a CL final and couldn't beat the worst team on the night?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
geez have you watched the game
You guys offered nothing all night, first attempt on target was after 70 mins and that was practically a pass back to our keeper for Dele.
A couple of decent attempts late in the game was all you could muster in the biggest game in your history.
We didn't even get out of first gear because we didn't have to
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Both teams were shiiite on the night. The main thing that separated them was a stupid handball.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
we kept a clean sheet and scored twice.
after scoring early we manged the game, its not our thought you offered nothing going forward.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You hardly offered much either. None of the big players turned up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
we didn't have to offer much though, that's the sad thing for spurs fans really.
You let us stroll a CL final.
we controlled the game, and you offered nothing.
After we scored early the onus was really on spurs to bring it to us, but you didn't.
We then hit you late and game over
The same might have applied had the opposite happened though Pranks
I’d rather be on the end of receiving a soft penalty tbh than chasing the game

Not to be harsh, but I think you've probably cocked up your best chance to win the league in recent times by not capitalising when you had a strong team.
You're currently on a downward trajectory imo.
Goalkeeper and defence past their best.
Best midfielder gone to Italy.
Brilliant striker, but can't stay fit for the course of a season.
Manager who's best days are looking increasingly behind him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs, with a fully fit first XI are still a formidable outfit. Dismiss them at your peril.
Man City have an ageing team as well, are you going to dismiss them. It is clear they are also past their best. And they won`t be able to spend their way out anymore.
No team will. Spurs made some decent purchases last season, and they will all improve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You have got a good team, I'm not denying that. But they aren't as good as they were. Whilst Liverpool are even better than they were when you couldn't beat them before.
As for City, they are massively ahead of you in terms of the transfer market. They have a lot more value in their squad if they need to sell. They have a better manager and they need a lot less refining.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool`s midfield looks weak. I doubt they will have another season like this. There were signs before the shutdown that they had peaked, and were starting to lose matches.
Spurs need to find a Billionaire owner.

Sandy, you can’t really sugar coat this matewe are an embarrassment. You are basically celebrating failure ? We don’t even win the small trophies mate, so let’s not even go down the league route. All of the top 6 win trophies, apart from Spurs. We ate an absolute joke under Levy/ENIC trophy wise
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don, as I pointed out Spurs have won 12 trophies since then, so hardly embarrassing. Certainly up there with the top five or six trophy winners over the same period.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sandy, we are an embarrassment mate. 1 league cup in over 20 years is atrocious and laughable for a club of our size
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Next year will be our year Don. I am expecting big things next season. If one thing this Corona Virus is going to do is level things up a lot. No more big spending from the lottery clubs. Every club will be on a shoestring, and being played behind closed doors should be a big advantage to Spurs. No pressure, so no bottling.
Mark my words Don, 2020/21 is going to be a big season for Spurs. The trophy drought will be ending big time next season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Next year will be our year Don. I am expecting big things next season

What are the chances of Newcastle winning a trophy before Spurs now since Sandy has spoken.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Newcastle haven`t won either the league or the FA Cup, since I was seven. So highly unlikely. Spurs will probably win the league before United do again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea had won fack all before Roman arrived and had no title for 50 years. Then look what happened
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea had it easy, they could spend, spend, spend without restrains. Newcastle will not be able to do that.

Leicester proved that being massively ahead in the transfer market don`t mean a lot. It is how players perform on the pitch. Spurs have the players to really shift up through a few gears, if they just put their minds to it, and cut out the silly mistakes that have littered most games this season.
