Laporte’s was rightly not given as a penalty but neither should Rose’s have been. I’m not sure why you mentioned Laporte at all as since it was not given we obviously did not benefit.

Llorente’s decision was right. No clear evidence that the ball hit his arm. Was very close but impossible to call.

Fact is you messed up not converting the ridiculous penalty you got early on in the first leg, which would’ve given you an away goal and made a massive difference in the tie.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Agreed, city have only themselves to blame. Not our fault we broke their hearts twice
----------------------------------------------------------------------
that was an incredible game to watch.
If my memory is working ok I think we were playing our away fixture in Porto that night after a comfortable win first leg.
I was a family party down in Hayling island that night and we opted to watch the city game.
We had a few chelsea fans hoping spurs would go out so it was a great night for me with the late drama

Since the Pren started, City have more or less been Spurs b. itc@hes. No matter how bad Spurs have been, more often than not, they get the better of City. Even this season, City couldn't beat Spurs, and Spurs recorded a comfortable 2-0 home win.

Either way, lets just thank Spurs for helping us get that monkey off our back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You need to thank your chairman more for that. Without those top additions in your team you'd still be doing a Spurs impersonation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Isn't it more the case that they should be thankful they don't have a chairman like Spurs have.

Most other chairmen of big ambitious clubs would have bought when their team was on the up and looking strong.Spurs chairman did the complete opposite.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, lets factor in that we spent the money from Coutinho sale and not spending anything the previous summer along with the CL run.

Did you not spend every penny of your money you got from Bale? How did that go? Hence thanks to the manager and scouting team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Liverpool have wasted a lot of money prior to the Coutinho sale on rubbish signings. So get off your high horse. Every club makes poor signings from time to time.

What about the 30 games you lost, or don`t you want to post them. A three or four year window over 30 years of the Prem. from 1990 to 2011 City hardly won a game against Spurs. A few wins since you won the lottery hardly makes up for over 20 years of misery at the hands of Spurs, and even the last couple of years Spurs have had the better of City.

Deal with it fella.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeh if you call totally owned meaning during the near on 20 years he didn`t mention Spurs W23 D5 L4, or don`t that count?

Even over the last four or five seasons Spurs have won 5, draws 2, and City 6 wins, which for a team that buys leagues is pretty poor.

As I said over the Prem era, Spurs pretty well own City. Twice as many wins, including successive runs of 7, 6, 5 straight wins over City.

But hey ho, I have been owned.
