It’s a good point. Especially regarding the CL.
There’s a good chance it’ll be even more irrelevant if the CL is played over one leg ties on neutral venues as well. It eliminates the home advantage and crappy away goals rule.
Will make the CL even more unpredictable. It was looking as open as it has done for many years already, if they go ahead with that idea then even more so.

I know what this is a setup for. Like I've said many times, you should not have won the CL last season. Juventus or PSG would have beaten you if you'd played them at any stage in the Knockout rounds. Also, your win against Barcelona was only due to a freak result at Anfield and a Barcelona team that had a nightmare night. You play that game 100 times and 99 times Barcelona play like you'd expect them to and finish the job at Anfield. What happened that game for them to lose 4-0 is not explainable and is just a mirace from a Liverpool point of view, there's no other way to explain it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You haven't answered the question.

Because I already know it's a trap question.

You say Juventus would have beaten them. The same one who lost to Ajax?
You say PSG would have beaten them. The same one who lost to us?
Barcelona were just not up to it mentally. Jordi Alba was distraught at half time ffs, they were still 3-1 up. That coupled with a fantastic performance by a fantastic team sent them out.
I love the irony of Jose’s biggest fan, Wahl, talking about teams winning knockout ties while not dominating them.
I love Jose but I can admit he isn’t one to have his teams dominate games. I wonder if he feels the Inter side that beat Barca in 2010 were any more deserving of their win against Barca than Liverpool were...
PSG beat Liverpool on aggregate during the group stage. If those were KO stage games, PSG would have progressed over Liverpool. And Juventus vs Ajax was a case of a big team letting their guard down against a weak opponent and paying the price for
It's not about dominating or not, it's about Barcelona having a nightmare game at Anfield and losing 4-0. That is not a usual result for Barcelona. They had a bad game at the worst time.

Yeah because like I've said many times, they had a nightmare game at the worst time. That just further supports what I'm saying, it wasn't a regular game that they just happened to be losing, EVERYTHING went wrong for them and that's why the players were so distraught.
But they weren't knockout games. And if we had met them in the knockout stage, where PSG are known for bottling it (Barcelona for example), then it could very well have been a different story.

They shouldn't be distraught at being two goals up with 75% of the tie complete though.

Liverpool losing 3-2 to Atletico is not a freak result. Atletico are a good team. That's not a freak result them winning by 1 goal.
Barcelona losing by FOUR goals against a team missing two of their forwards is a freak result. You'd have to be delusional to not agree with that.
Barca getting battered away from home in the CL isn’t a freak result, to be fair. It’s a common occurrence.

Because it was a nightmare game, everything was going wrong, that's why the players were distraught. That Barcelona team has played many European games and lost plenty but they've never reacted that way. It shows that night was different to any other game for them.
Barca lost 3-0 at Roma, 4-0 at PSG etc

Conceded 4 to a front three of Origi, Mane and probably Shaqiri I'd guess is ridiculous for any Barcelona team, let alone that Barcelona team.

Barcelona never lost 3-0 to Roma, they lost 3-2 and PSG are a top quality team, so losing 4-0 to them is no disgrace and isn't comparable to conceding 4 to Mane, Origi and Shaqiri.
