Chelsea reigning Europa league winners, Liverpool, 2 CLs on the bounce, current European champions after a an all English final, and Liverpool reigning World champions, about to win the prem by a record distance from the rest, one of whom, may well go on to win this years CL.
As David Frost used to say on through the keyhole, 'The clues are there'. 🤔😂😂😂
What a stupid question. 😂😂😂

Barcelona knocked out by Liverpool last season.
Who gives a t055. 😂
Loads of other great teams beaten by teams people didn't expect them to be, so what, means nothing, unless you have the footballing knowledge and understanding of an 8 year old. 😂😂😂

Everyone in the league is apart from Liverpool. But obviously last season’s results, where they did well in Europe, shows how good the prem is this season.

Might as well, I've memorised their arguments by heart the amount of times i've read them...

The premier league wasn't even that strong last year as well. Tottenham never should have reached a CL final, THAT is the biggest fluke of anything mentioned here. The all English final was a joke and by far the shiiittiest CL final I've ever seen in terms of quality.

So what happens if City play Athletico later on, and hammer them, is the Premier league the best again? 🤔😂😂😂
Don't half talk some b0ll0x you boys. 😂😂😂

Three weeks without playing any matches will probably do that.

How is the premier league the best when Tottenham and Liverpool were knocked out by losing home and away in the last 16 stage and Chelsea were thrashed 3-0 at home in the first leg and would definitely have gone on to lose home and away. The only English team left are City who were 50/50 to go through vs Real and always lose in the CL anyway, so there's no way they would have won it.

This is true. But the teams were stronger last season, even if loads were that good.

It’s more trying to use Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs from last season, despite both being worse this season, to show the prem is great is reeetarded.

But then these are Liverpool fans.

I actually think Liverpool were better last season as well. Despite their points total this year.

Last year was an anomaly when you think about it. Every other season you look at, the English teams have performed badly generally in Europe. Maybe one team does well in any given season, but the other 5 or so don't achieve much. It's been that way for a decade now.

Klopps changed the system for sure, not just for maintaining fitness levels and guardings vs burnout etc but because pretty much every team including City last season at Anfield changed their tactics vs us.

Teams refuse to go toe to toe, they bypassed the midfield most of the time, this shockingly poor 3 man midfield according to most apparently most teams clearly scared to fight against.

Ontop of that lets not forget the rush back and the fixture congestion we've had too at the start, was a huge mess.

Spain have performed best in europe for the last decade or so no doubt about that, before that it was the prem. And last year English teams looked to be back all English finals in both European competitions. Liverpool had made the finals of the EL and CL before that too, so prem cant be that weak.

I think overall the prem is ahead and by some distance, top 6 or so Spain have clearly been performing better in europe over recent years so you'd argue Spain here. However despite that i'd still back Englands top 6 to come out ahead in head to heads vs Spains top 6.

Are atletico 4th in Spain? They’d humiliate Chelsea for sure.

Championship

About 10 teams are good enough to win it, and they play 46 games instead of 38, with barely any walkovers. So technically its a strong league
