Loool - you gotta stop with this idea that Liverpool are some kinda big draw.
Even the few top players you have (the likes of Salah, Mane & VVD) were signed from 2nd & 3rd tier teams like Roma & Southampton.
Truth is, someone like Mbappe isn’t going to want to play in Liverpool when he could play in London, Madrid, Paris etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
and you're point is?
man u signed Ferdinand from leeds.
psg signed mbappe from Monaco
man u signed ronaldo from sporting CP
real signed ronaldo from man u.
we signed suarez from ajax
Barcelona got messi from newell's old boys
few, if any, top players weren't signed from a smaller club
perhaps you should look closer at your own club, I highly doubt it would be much of a draw to any player if your club stopped paying such ridiculous wages even to their journeymen players.
'Alexis Sánchez’s contract – £391,000 a week with an extra £75,000 for every game he plays and an annual £1.1m signing-on fee
and your club is still paying a large chunk of that even though he's not even playing for them.
“ Even the few top players you have (the likes of Salah, Mane & VVD) were signed from 2nd & 3rd tier teams like Roma & Southampton.”
Who was Thierry Henry signed from? Or Bergkamp? Or Pires?, Campbell? Etc etc

He’s got a point in fairness - if you buy a player from a massive club and pay them far more than your other players it’s almost guaranteed to be a success, just look at Ozil....
Liquid has always been a wum but since he used the word 'overtime' he just needs putting in the bin.

What relevance or with any substance can an Arsenal fan say anything against Liverpool atm? You’re lucky to be in the top 10, just pipe down and catch up Sheffield United first. There’s a good lad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's sheer arrogance mate! There was a time when Arsenal walked all over LIverpool
so just pipe down. Not nice kicking a man when he is down!

So much wrong with this comment but I’ll try and make some sense of it.
1. Hes clearly a wum who’s only purpose of his comment was to rile Liverpool fans.
2.Arsenal walked over Liverpool, when and how?
3. I made the comment first before other Liverpool fans followed, so there was no kicking on my behalf.
4. Never thought i would see the day a Spurs fan would stick up for an Arsenal fan.

in fairness Marseille are not giants of anyth9ng but you are right.
salah had done well after his chelsea set back, mane dis well building his career up through the smaller clubs, firmino the same.
one could.argue.wrner.and havertz would have simialr stories.
if anything henry would be more equivalent to say coutinho in early career path moving to italy.
bergkamp was a big big name.player who.flopped in italy
Campbell was a top cb who moved on a free.
as for above. yes there was a time when arsenal had our number but that hasn't been the case for a number of seasons now.

I am pretty sure a washed up Wenger finished above Klopp but anyway enjoy your first domestic title when it eventually comes.
Of all the weird criticisms of clubs you get on JA606, buying players from small clubs is one of the oddest. Identifying talent that fits into your team before others do i always saw as a positive. And is pretty much what scouts are paid for.

Any person that names it's trousers after underwear and calls football soccer has no business commenting on such things.
Soccer’s an English word, to be fair. But I agree with the premise.

Just write correctly you weirdo.
Overtime sounds cooler than extra-time.
On a different point, I've always thought football (soccer) should learn from the NFL & NBA in terms of the entertainment aspect of sports. More trash-talk, better TV promos, more glitz & glamour, more celeb involvement etc.
Overtime sounds like work and at no point should football take anything from made up niche sports Americans invented because they're absolutely rammal at games everyone else in the world plays.
What was the other one, clutch time ot something? You deserved to be banned for that article.
Some Americanisms are quite good, to be fair, but overtime isn’t one of them.
