No idea about today but i have seen several recent decisions which can be classed as bullshat at the very least not to mention the VAR farces on top of that.

Never signed up to this club bias before now but after the last few months there is zero doubt it exists

Haven't seen it. Don't really care to be honest.

Now the dust has settled what are folks views on the season? Disappointments? Big plusses?

Jota a disappointment for me, really expected bigger things from him and he hasn't really delivered in front of goal, obviously a real handful at times and sixteen goals doesn't sound too bad but then you realise he only scored in ten games all season.

MGW another that just didn't improve at all and arguably regressed from the previous season. Needs a loan out in my view.

On the plus side i thought Saiss stepped in great and turned out to be a very reliable part of the side though he didn't look so comfortable after the restart. That said his is surely the number one spot to upgrade on this summer.

Neto looks a class act and really could prove to be a sensation, i personally have zero doubt he is going to be a better player than Traore a year or two from now.

And overall the issues if we want to label them such are what we all knew they would be........options. A paper thin squad has left us falling just short, a good season could have been a great season though just maybe we find one last blast of energy and take the Europa

Although the league season starts on Sept 12th the 4 teams left in European competitions are to be guaranteed a 30 day break after their last European game. The Europa Final is August 21st so we could start the league season 10 days late

We were maybe spoilt last season in that we exceeded most peoples expectations, whereas this season we've only matched them. I think at the start of the season most of us would have taken 7th again and last 16 of the Europa if offered. You always hope for more of course and having missed 6th by 3 goals after having Spurs below us all season until the last game is frustrating.

All we really need now is more consistency in the final third of the pitch, which will hopefully come with one or two additions (hopefully no departures) and improvements from the players we have. Such a shame that Cutrone didnt work out, we have to go and recruit for that position again now and if we can have something approaching a normal season this time Im sure we'll see further improvements in the likes of Jota, Neto, Jordao & Podence.

That could backfire. Coming from behind or from a disadvantage points-wise can have a negative psychological effect. Just look at how many teams get trapped in the relegation spots.

That just means we will be playing twice a week until we catch up. So not really a big help.
